I have the hardest time finding 1 mm craft foam for making shoes; I prefer the 1mm to the 2mm foam.
I have the hardest time finding tiny buttons and buckles that fit nicely for doll clothes. It is also a challenge to find thin velcro. Thank you for this great giveaway!
I haven’t really had an issue finding materials and notions to make my doll clothes. My Nana had a collection of small snaps, buttons and hooks, which I inherited from her. When I need material, I go to the city, as I live in a very small town, and I go to Fabricland. I go through their remnant basket and have had a lot of success finding something for my current project. I have also been lucky to find things at the Value Village. Someone is always donating sewing and notions when they are down sizing.
I shop at Value village for unique patterns or buy clothes that i can re-do into something cute for my dolls
i had a hard time finding doll shoes patterns and also Journey doll clothes patterns until I discovered Pixie Faire via Home Sew catalog.
