I live about 60 miles from any fabric stores. We do have a Walmart about 15 miles away so I do shop there for some things. I’m lucky that I have my mothers stock pile of fabric and trims that she gave me. I don’t us zippers instead I use Velcro. I also like to shop yard sales and thrift store for fancy dress to make prom dress for my dolls.
I have the hardest time finding well priced and sized doll buckles for coveralls.
I do not shop much, mostly from my stash, people know I sew and give me lot of stuff, unless I am trying to learn a new skill and need something special then I try local first then on line
My daughter and I are both learning to sew, she’s much better! But we have been hitting up etsy and pixie faire for doll patterns, fabric etc……hoping once we get better at sewing to hit up more places
I have the hardest time finding sports theme material with a suitable size pattern for doll sized clothes.
