I have the hardest time finding small buttons and zippers on the spot. I usually order them online so over order for when I get the “need” to make something using these items. Our stores don’t seem to carry these supplies.

I shop for fabrics for my doll clothes at the thrift store. I buy lightly used clothing that may have a minor issue like a faulty zipper or be out of style but still has good material. It may make a full outfit or two, or could be paired with other fabrics I have.

I shop for 14" doll clothe patterns at Pixie Faire.

I shop for fabric for doll clothes at thrift stores. Baby girl dresses are often lightly used, have appropriately sized small prints and have enough fabric to make doll clothes. Patterns can also be cut strategically to include embroidery or other embellishment on the dresses.

I have the hardest time finding the tiny hardware to trim and outfits, plus my big ham hands don;t help.
