I sew because I love it! It is a hobby now as I mainly do American Girl doll clothes for my granddaughter. But I love making baby quilts and such as gifts for friends. I also crochet and love doing doll clothes and lots of scarves and hats for charity. My time is based on what I am in the mood for doing, so no real time frame, when the mood is on I spend many hours sewing, this year I made 166 masks and many other items for teachers and their classrooms. I just love to sew and craft.

I’d love to make more AG size quilts as I have miniaturized a few of my digital quilting patterns for my longarm machine and those are fun to do in between work!

Spend all the free time I have making more and more outfits. The granddaughters and I certainly have a wide selection of doll clothes now. but there is a never ending desire to make more.

I sew and knit (also crochet) doll clothing, primarily for my own pleasure – I love to play with my dolls, although I am 72 now. (I also craft things for them – cutting and gluing, constructing out of card and paper or doing woodwork.) But I also sew and knit a lot, making gifts for others. Sometimes, that is pretty much all I do in a week! But often, I suppose I just spend and hour or two a day. knitting especially. I don’t have an Etsy shop, but do buy from Etsy.

I’d lost my sewing momentum for many months and I missed it very much. My GD and I love to sew, craft, crochet, draw, paint- nearly anything to keep our hands busy. I am glad to be sewing again
What’s my passion? Crafting! I quilt, do needlework, knit, and make quilted Christmas ornaments. I don’t know how many hours I spend but they give me enjoyment and peace. I have sold my Christmas ornaments at craft fairs and hope to do so in 2021.
I sew primarily for American Girl. I also sew for Disney Animator and Wellie Wishers. It’s a hobby but I do put some of the outfits I make on Etsy.
My Esty business name is LFG’s Crafts and Things.
I sew primarily as a hobby & on average, I spend very little time sewing these days.
I primarily crochet as a hobby making hats to give to local high poverty elementary schools. I spend anywhere from 1 to 4 hours a week.
“I knit primarily as a hobby, on average, I spend 8 hours in a week knitting socks ".
I sew doll clothes for pleasure. I started making them last summer and went on a sewing binge spending hours everyday to try different projects to give to my granddaughter for Christmas. It’s only 9 am and I’m already thinking about what I will try today. Being retired helps. Sewing and Pickleball are my happy places.
I sew, knit and crochet as a hobby. I binge sew whenever I can schedule a day or weekend to do so. It brings me much joy and contentment. I wish I had an Etsy but can’t figure out how to profit from having one. Even if I could break even for materials. It just boggles my mind trying to figure how it is beneficial, financially. Someone please clue me in. I have way too much stash and not enough dollies to not find a solution to have a feasible selling outlet.
“I sew and crochet primarily as a hobby. On average, I spend… probably an average of an hour a week on crafting. Some I do lots more, and some I am too busy to do any. "
“I sew primarily for my family, most of my clothing and my little girls! I love to sew baby gifts and have made a couple Pixie Faire outfits but would love to sew more doll outfits. So it’s hard to say on average how much of time I spend sewing in a week. Some weeks I sew a lot and others I hardly get time to.
Now that I am retired, I like to spend as much time as possible knitting and sewing doll clothes.
It keeps me focused.
I don’t have an Etsy store. I just love shopping at Etsy.
I sew primarily for American Girl doll and for other smaller dolls. I sew daily if I can fit it in. It is such a fun hobby!
