My goal for 2018 is to keep my sewing/craft room tidy by tidying up after each time of using my machine, not leaving everything out and to concentrate carefully when making my doll outfits and shoes. No rushing through projects and discarding them when they don’t turn out right and starting something different. I want to be tidy and skilful and make amazing outfits for my dolls!

My goal is to keep sewing, it is getting harder to sit that long. But when it comes to making doll clothes for my grandaughter. She has so many now I can’t believe she would want even more. She loves whatever I make for her. Keep on going!

My goal for 2018 is to continue to teach my 11 and 8 year old granddaughters to sew (they love what they have made so far). They have made a great start making some bedding for their little 4 year old cousins dolls. Next step is to make clothes for their Journey Girl dolls. The little shoes, should, I win them, would be a great incentive for them to complete the outfits they make.

My goal for 2018 is to have a shorter “To Do List” with only two items: one house related task and one sewing related (for example: 1. Dust the living room 2. Sew the hem on the doll dress). When I finish the hem on the doll dress, if I have other items ready to sew with the same thread color … I’ll continue to sew:) When I"m finished I’ll add two more items to my list. This way I will never have a “To Do List” that’s overwhelmingly long. It will only have two items.
