My goal for 2018 is to be more patient and loving with everyone. Sometimes we get into our own little world and ignore the people that mean the most to us. So I am going to change that with my whole family. Grandchildren look out because here comes Grandma. Put those hand held games away and come over here and give me a hug or two. Happy New Year to everyone out there, may it be blessed. D.

My goal for 2018 is to ……(well, 1st you gotta enter here all the standards like staying active and healthy and being the best Mom/Gramma/Sister/Friend/Neighbor I can be, continue to be an important part of my community and keep making changes in my city for the better, to continue volunteer work, etc). As far as my sewing goal, I currently have a 1940 Kenmore which I’ve had since the age of 10 but last year I had acquired an older serger plus a 1985 Singer that can zig zag etc so I need to find and commit lots of quiet time, patience and brain power to figuring out how to use and master those critters fast because they will make a terrific addition to my volunteer sewing. Meanwhile, all the sewing equipment and projects are making my kitchen look more and more like Norma Rae’s textile factory! (You know what I’m talking about ladies, I’m not alone.) To 2018 everybody, good luck and best to us all, we made it!!!
