We are working hard on the content for our latest class - The Couture Sewing Academy! It goes "live" on April 1st, (no joke). So to help launch it with some fun and enthusiasm we thought we'd do a comment contest.

I want to learn couture techniques so I can sew professionally finished doll garments which will be auctioned off in charity and children’s events fundraisers, and I know my own 3 daughters are my hardest to please critics. I am admittedly hit or miss at baking (so no one asks me to send in cupcakes!) but I could certainly improve my acceptable sewing skills to produce higher quality finished garments that would rock those raffle ticket baskets!
I have been sewing for almost 60 years. I am in need of inspiration. Perhaps this online sewing course is what I need to get me to the ‘next level’.
I would love to win a spot in the Couture Sewing Academy so that I can spark interest in my hand sewing once again. Unique, quality items are rare. I want to leave heirlooms for my grandchildren!
