We are working hard on the content for our latest class - The Couture Sewing Academy! It goes "live" on April 1st, (no joke). So to help launch it with some fun and enthusiasm we thought we'd do a comment contest.

“I want to learn couture techniques so I can create even more beautiful clothing for the American Girl Doll”
I would love to try my hand at couture. Really want to make unique clothes. I sew for my great-nieces and the older one is learning to sew. We have sewing days to make clothes for her dolls. It would be great to pass on some of this technique to her also.
I want to learn couture techniques so I can learn to make my sewing more professional looking and eventually transfer my ideas into great looking garments for all my dolls! Thank you for the chance to win a spot. :)

Thank you so much for the opportunity to win a spot! I would love to learn couture techniques to increase my skill set. I have been teaching myself sewing skills over the years in the hopes of one day being able to support myself with this craft and help others to have beautiful, well-fitting clothes. Couture work is a very necessary tool in my collection!
