I’m thankful for having a family I love and a decent job for paying the bills. I wish everyone one else could have at least that as well.
The Lord has blessed me in many ways . I’m most thankful for my family and my health. Last two years have been rough, with too many close encounters with hospitals doctors and Clinics. I’m also glad that I got to visit my best friend who has stage 4 cancer and whose husband is in hospice.
I’m thankful for my amazing family. We have created so many wonderful memories over the years and they have always been there to support my dreams.
I’m thankful for the privilege of worshiping my God without fear. I’m thankful for the men and women who protect us and enable us to have the freedoms we have. I’m reminded that each gave some and some gave all. I’m thankful for family, friends, home, warmth and food to go on our Thanksgiving table. I pray God gives each a sense of peace during this holiday season. We have witnessed so much devastation throughout these USA. Bless us Lord, hold us close as we each celebrate our faith. In Jesus name I pray.
Amen
I am thankful for my family and the many blessings God has gifted us with!
I am thankful for talented pattern makers and their testers!
I’m thankful for Jason & Cinnamon who had the faith to begin the Sew Powerful program. I’m thankful that I’m able to sew purses for the Sew Powerful purse program. It really blesses me as I know the purse blesses others. I made 149 purses for 2018. I would have made one more but I needed to beat the deadline of November 1. I’m anxious to hear what the new goal is for 2019.
I am thankful for my husband and kids. For health and having an abundance of daily needs. I thank God daily for all these abundant blessings. I am also thankful for all the creative people out there who create these wonderful patterns. I thank pixie faire for all the free ones they give! I also want to thank pixie faire for doing the purses and so giving to the poor! Thanks!!❤️
I am thankful for my daughter and our shared enjoyment of our faith, life, American girl dolls, sewing and Pixie Faire .
“I’m Thankful for, that my life is no longer the way it was when I was a little girl. For years I thought that I would never get a turkey or ham on our table. Every holiday would pass by and our home would be dark and cold. We would have an old heater that would sometimes work and other times it wouldn’t. Our mother would make what ever she had in the kitchen that often meant nothing. Now I am thankful that I have been giving more than enough to share with others. My mother had an old treadle machine that she would have to tie the belt with her stockings. Yes, I learn how to make barbie clothes on it. Now I am so Thankful I am able to sew Pixie outfits on my BabyLock:)
I am thankful for waking up each day and having a lovely husband and family to share my life with.
I’m thankful for friends and family, and being able to do pretty much what I want. And this year, too, I’m thankful (and sad) that I won’t be fixing a feast for the family. I’ve been sick since friday… but getting better.
I am thankful for the blessing of still having BOTH of my parents still with me! (in life) My Mother started teaching me to sew at an early age and I am eternally grateful for the skills she taught me. I am also thankful for all the wonderfully talented people who create wonderful patterns and teach others techniques and tricks.
I have been blessed with a wonderful son and daughter-in-law that I love with all my heart. They have blessed me with two beautiful grandchildren (4 yr old grandson and an 11 month old granddaughter) and I can’t wait until my granddaughter is old enough to play with dolls so hopefully we can enjoy this hobby of mine together! My heart spills over with love for each and every one of my family members and I’m so very thankful that most of us will be enjoying the day together tomorrow.
Sewing for dolls is a wonderful thing and I am grateful that I have a wonderful (to me!) sewing room and for all the goodies in it. God has blessed my life in wonderful ways and has allowed me to continue working to support this “habit” of mine. :)
The kinship found through this group and others on the internet is another thing I consider a blessing. I may not always comment on what someone has done, but I do hit the like button if I can’t leave a comment at that time. It’s wonderful to have such talented people out there sharing ideas and assistance.
Pixie Faire is such a wonderful website and community and I certainly count this as a blessing! There’s rarely a day that goes by that I don’t check in and see what’s new! Your Freebie Friday’s and Mod Mondays are always a treat and I direct as many people as I can to your website.
THANK YOU for all you do, you’re blessings to us all!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
I am thankful for the doll designers and Pixie Faire for making such wonderful outfits available to us.
I’m thankful for my husband and kids. For my parents and siblings. For my sister in law who is here to celebrate Thanksgiving!
“I’m thankful for”…
Knowing I’m not alone! I’m an autistic older lady and live pretty much alone (I have other disabilities too so don’t get around much). I have a cat, she’s also getting on in years, but I love her and she is a great friend!
I also have a pretty Molly doll I was lucky enough to be able to buy from a thrift shop. I can’t always afford the fancy doll things, but I try to save up once in a while to make something for my doll. A while back my friends and family members told me I was too old to play with dolls and that I needed to “grow up”. They told me I should get rid of my doll and her things. I was sad because I feel useful and focused making nice things for my doll. I lost pretty much all family and friends because they refused to associate with a “dumb” person who can’t figure out she needs to grow up.
But when I told people in a doll group online about this, I was told to forget them, that other folks like dolls too… and to never let this bring me down. They said they would be like a new family for me. I now chat with people online who share my love for dolls and I get a lot of happiness learning new things from them to create for my doll :)
I hope everyone has a lovely holiday, and a huge good luck to everyone here :)
I am thankful for all the blessings I have received over my lifetime and prayers answered as well. Happy to still have a mother and mother in law here to see my children grow and succeed. And lastly for my wonderful husband of 38 years who encourages my crafting habits as we travel during retirement.
I am thankful for God, my family, and the blessings I have!

I am thankful to be alive and walking. After being paralyzed from the neck down and everything in my body shutting down, told I had a hour to live and if I did I most likely would never walk again. I am thankful for my grandson who was with me when it happened, he was 2 and that was Nov 4th 2008. I was told if he hadn’t woken up and being a mischievous little one that was racing around, getting into food and doing a few naughty things I would have gone to sleep and never woke up. It was a long hard struggle but I can walk with aid of cane and him and I had a 10 year Hero celebration last week. My daughter was my strength and rock and was there for me constantly.

I am so very thankful for all veterans who served their country. We sometimes take for granted the sacrifices made so we may live as we do—free to come and go as we please, live in a house with furnishings, shop for food,, have a car to drive. We need to be more grateful for what we have and have respect for everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving to the fine folks at Pixie Faire and all my fellow seamstresses.
I am thankful for the miracle of LIFE and our creator!
I am thankful to be able to give my kids world view experiences by taking them out of the country and meeting many people.
I am thankful every day for all God’s blessings and the strength he has given me to survive life’s trials. I have survived cancer five times and am so grateful to be alive to enjoy my two great granddaughters, ages 1.5 and 5.5. Their love of their dolls has inspired me to make doll clothes, and (next) try my hand at making doll shoes. God blessed me with the love of sewing and a grandmother who was willing to teach an anxious 10-year-old how to make her own doll clothes, by hand. I am indeed blessed! Thank you for your website and all your encouragement to those of us who would probably never have tried making doll shoes!! :)
