I am thankful for the family I have. What I have now is so precious, and makes up for everything I once lost. The family I lost was not worth the pain I endured as a child, but the family that stood by me helped me grow my own family and for that I am forever grateful.

I am thankful for the health of the family members that have/had cancer. We lost a young family member to cancer this year. We have others in remission or cured. So, so thankful.
I am thankful for my family. Especially the two children who call me ‘Grandma ’. I took a big risk to support their mother as my ’daughter-by-choice’, knowing that she needed a positive parenting role model. The hugs and snuggles with the kids are my reward for taking this risk.

I have recently been diagnosed with carcinoid tumors on my liver. I am thankful that so far the cancer hasn’t spread, and for the fact that carcinoid cancer is slow growing, responds well to monthly chemo shots, and I will get the chance to spend more time with my family and friends. I am not ready to go anywhere yet. I have too much sewing to do!

I am grateful for a second chance at love and happiness. 11 years ago my life changed forever. My husband, father of my children, and my best friend passed away very suddenly. For 3 years I was lost. Then, God gave me my current husband. He has given back love, life, laughter and hope! He also gave me back my desire to sew and create. Life has purpose again and for that I am forever thankful!
I am thankful everyday to live in a country where we enjoy so many freedoms. I am thankful for a wonderful, healthy family. On a lighter note, I am thankful to have a warm house where I can be ‘snowed in’ this weekend and spend time sewing! Cinnamon, thank you for all you do.

I am thankful for my family and 2 grandsons and am very thankful my husband survived his 4th stroke and is still alive! For the past 9 months he has been in the hospital and I live alone after being married for over 52 years.He will soon be placed in a nursing home. It’s been a difficult year but I am thankful I can still visit him. I have my health issues but am thankful I am still able to live on my own and surrounded by things I enjoy like piano, my Art and painting , sewing and my huge stash of fabrics and dolls!

I am thankful for so many things. Besides a loving, supportive family, I am blessed to have many talented, giving friends. Being passionate about sharing 18" dolls and clothing for foster girls, I am thankful for Pixie Faire patterns and courses.
I am thankful for a job that allows me to be home with my girls on a daily basis, especially having every Friday off to devote just to them. The pay is terrible and the work is exhausting, but I wouldn’t trade any of it because I get to seen them grow a little every day.
I am thankful for God’s faithfulness through the good times and the bad times. It is God’s grace that is getting my husband and me through my husband’s case of Shingles and the extreme pain following it for 4 months. I am thankful that I can still sew, teach, and minister to children at my church.
I’m thankful that the last of our crops were harvested today just before the snow storms. I’m thankful that all farming years are not like the 2019 one we just finished.
I am thankful for a kind caring attentive and amazing husband, for my little great grandsons brain tumor shrinkage, for God granting strength to his family, for my reconnection with my sister, for my good health, the ability to continue with all of my ever growing projects, the list is never ending for the thanks I have in my heart.
