I am grateful that I found a non-profit that allows me to be creative, and sew every day, in retirement. I enjoy it so much it hardly feels like community service!
I’m thankful for the blessing that is getting to celebrate Thanksgiving and decorate for Christmas with my sister/best friend ever who’s home for the week! I’m so glad she’s here to be a part of the festivities. Also, for the time I get to spend this week with people I’m blessed to call family but don’t get to see very often.
Finally, Thanksgiving usually involves a lot of joking around with a giant stuffed turkey who has been a part of the family for many years. I’m thankful for the fun and jokes we share.
