I am Thankful for my many Blessings. Some of them being my Faith, Family and fun. I volunteer with two agencies that I use my sewing skills for making doll clothes. I recently used the Flight Suit pattern for AG dolls. The compliments I received are still coming in. I tell them I just follow the instructions!
I’m thankful for opportunities that are coming my way!!
I am so very Thankful that the Lord allows me to wake up each day and greet the morning. I am very grateful for my twin grandsons who are 17 mos old. I am thankful that they are developing nicely, even though they have had struggles in their development due to being born early. They are wearing helmets on their heads to reshape their heads because they both had huge bumps on their heads that had to be operated on when they were 6 mos old. I am so thankful for their little smiles and giggles. I am so thankful that I am a first time Nana as well. This has been an amazing year to say the least. I struggle with MS, but I don’t let it get me down. I am so much better off than most people who have it. I am thankful for my love of dolls and sewing and I am right now making a set of clothes for my pen pal in the UK for her doll. I am thankful that the Lord has made me a person who loves to give rather than receive. I get much joy seeing someone open a present that I have made them. It makes my heart grow 3 times bigger inside. I hope everyone reading this has a Happy Thanksgiving and be thankful for all you have received in your life.
I am thankful to be seeing my grandchildren for the first time since January 2020 at the beginning of the covid pandemic. We were not able to celebrate Thanksgiving together last year, but we will this year.
I’m thankful that my 6 weeks+ bout of Microscopic Colitis has abated somewhat, so I can hopefully eat and enjoy some of the Thanksgiving Dinner I’m planning for family!
