I’m thankful 1st and for most to God for without Him NOTHING else would be possible. For God said if we don’t recognize Him, He won’t recognize us.
Additionally, I’m very passionate about our military & our police officers. Though many put their lives on the line each day, these individuals, put on their uniform & run into any dangerous situation so that we can all be safe on their watch as we sleep under the blanket of security each night.
Finally, I’m grateful for Pixiefaire because they have the most unique, tailor made, gorgeous patterns that many kids would love to have. I make a lot of outfits for children that are down on their luck with cancer or other terminally ill ailments & they are so grateful to open a gift made from these patterns and I actually found Pixiefaire by accident on line 1 day and have loved them ever since. They are definitely a cut above the store bought outfits or the traditional patterns found in fabric stores. Their style, cut, beauty all are unique & definitely worthy of gift giving. It truly is a joy to see the smiles on the kids faces when they get an outfit or two. Just wish I had more time to do more. Thank you for such incredible & loved patterns.
I am thankful that when God leads us to it, He will lead us through it. I thank Him every day for giving me the patients and understanding to care for my 94-year-old father with dementia, and my husband that is losing his sight. May God bless all of you and I hope everyone has a safe and love filled Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for my friends and wonderful family. For my son who has the ablity to work from my home while visiting for a month and a half . During the holidays.
I’m Thankful For my family! This year has been incredibly challenging and the past few months have been among the most stressful and difficult I’ve ever been through. Back in August, we all came down with Covid, and on the third morning, I got out of bed and ended up passing out 3 times in the matter of 20-30 minutes or so. It led to my first ever ride in an ambulance, my first ever hospital stay, and a personal record for number of stitches (this time to the front and back of my head. My kidneys were shutting down, my heart rate dropped into the 30’s, and I passed out again in the ER only to awaken with shock pads on my chest. As I lay in an empty hospital room I realized just how lucky I was to have my family there with me when it all went very wrong. Life changed in many ways that day, but all of them for the better. And today, I’m more thankful for my family than I have ever been before! And that’s saying something!!
I am thankful that my son’s deployment with the Army National Guard is finally over and he is back home with his family, after being gone for over 400 days
I’m thankful for being alive. In July, at my routine GYN exam, I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. I’ve had a radical hysterectomy and completed radiation treatment since then. At this point, I am cancer free. My husband and I have 3 children and 12 grandchildren. I’m so thankful that I can hang around and watch the grands grow up. God is good!

Happy Blessed Thanksgiving to all.

Of course I’m thankful for my family and friends as well as my faith, but this year I celebrated my 81st birthday and am realizing how thankful I am for my health and the very fortunate life I’ve had so far.
I am so grateful for my country home to come back after a long day at work.my loving husband and my dog and two cats who love unconditionally
I am thankful for my family and friends that have been there for me through the good and the not so good.
I recently had a bad fall in my backyard backwards and fell on two tree branches that broke off our big Maple Tree and when I fell on my back and hit my hip I laid there for 45 minutes while my new Westie Puppy Ellie was thinking it was a game in the leaves and was jumping all over me while I was in pain. I laid there praying to the Lord, Please don’t let me have a broken hip or broken leg or ribs or back. I am so Thankful that the Lord answered my prayers. I am fine now and don’t have any broken bones and I think it is safe to say that I will be okay. I know this sounds weird, but I am thankful to have my illness of Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis because it allows me to take the time to be grateful and slow down and enjoy my life instead of rushing. It allows me to take the time to Thank the Lord for my many blessings in life each day like waking up every day alive and realizing that this is a miracle. Before I even got Diagnosed with any kind of illness I always had this attitude that I would always help others less fortunate than myself, whether that was in the Grocery store, on the street you name it. I felt this way because I always knew that if I helped others who were less fortunate than I was, if I ever got sick maybe it would come back to me full circle one day. I have learned not to sweat the small things in life, they usually work out in the end anyway. I am so grateful for all the women online that I have come to admire and love in the sewing forums and doll sites. I love to admire these sites with their complex designs and historical patterns. I am so grateful for my husband Paul and my son Timothy and my two twin grandsons. I prayed that one day my only child would have children and he finally did and I have two instead of one. God is good! I adore my new puppy Ellie and love that I have a companion again after losing my other Westie at 17.5 years old last Thanksgiving night. This tore my heart out, but with Ellie now in my life I am back to loving life and having company when I am home alone during the day. I am very blessed indeed and wish to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and many more years of happiness and health and most of all Peace and Love!
