More About Each Pattern:

The Peplum Top For 18 Inch Dolls: The Liberty Jane Peplum Top 18 inch Doll Clothes PDF Pattern. Your doll will look her best wearing tops made from this cute sewing pattern. Design features a fully lined bodice and a zipper opening in the back. It can be easily dressed up or worn with jeans for a more city-smart casual look. Featured in the 2012 Spring Line International Collection, this has become a true classic!

The Baseball Tee For 18 Inch Dolls: The Liberty Jane Classic Baseball T-shirt PDF Pattern will delight your 18 inch American Girl Doll! The raglan style sleeve is perfect for a beginner because it is a straight seam, not curved or sewn in a circle. Sewing a zig zag seam is an optional way to finish seams, but not necessary to make the t-shirt.

The Sorrento Top For 18 Inch Dolls: This popular top from the Liberty Jane Spring 2011 International Collection has been revised for 2014 to include the By The Boardwalk variation! We've added 8 pages of new instruction to include two complete variations. The 5 strand braid instructions with full color steps are included as well! The Sorrento Top is designed to fit an 18 inch American Girl ® Doll! This design is easy to sew and works with a variety of trims! Have a hard time finding trims? The braid variation can be made without any trims, simply use strips of scrap fabrics to create a unique look. Tips included for sewing with knit fabric which will help prevent stretching and produce evenly stitched hems! Suggested fabrics include: lightweight knit (rayon spandex), rayon, and silky blends

The V-Neck Tee For 18 Inch Dolls: A v-neck tee is a great addition to any doll’s wardrobe! Liberty Jane is excited to offer you this PDF sewing pattern to teach you how to do this “lapped v” technique. This is a perfect project for using upcycled t-shirts that you might have lying around. There are 11 pages of full color step by step instruction as well as 1 page of text only summary of  instructions to save on printer ink! These full color easy to follow instructions walk you through each step in completing your American Girl ® dolls new v neck shirt.

Take a look at each pattern:

Checked several times during the day Friday right up until I went to bed and I didn’t see the free pattern. I noticed that the voting started later than usual and wondered if there was a problem with the net on your end or something. Have an awesome Christmas!!

I have all these patterns so it doesn’t matter to me which one is free but I’ve made the top with the peplum twice, and it turned out really cute. I made it from a print to go with solid pants, and then I made it from a print, and I made a matching straight skirt and a sparkly beret. Super cute.

Thank you for your generosity in offering these free patterns! I can’t wait to see my Granddaughters faces when they see the pretty clothes that I made for the dolls they are getting for Christmas. I appreciate freebie Friday because I’m on a limited income and I can’t afford to purchase many patterns right now.

I would have loved the v neck pattern instead of the peplum simply because I already had the other patterns but I am greatful for freebie friday, as was said when you are on a low income, these patterns are a godsend. Thanks Pixie Faire and Liberty Jane for these fabulous patterns! Love them all!

I wish I was more patient and could wait to see if the patterns on my wish list will be offered on Friday, but I am not and have bought many that are offered later on. That being said I do look forward to Fridays and am very thrilled when I get the gift of a free pattern, not sad that I already had the winner I often pick up a Pixie Pack or pattern in addition to the freebie. I wonder how long it is going to take my husband to figure out that the checkbook entries for the grocery store on Fridays are really Pixie Faire purchases. :)

I voted for the V-neck Tee only because I have the other three patterns. For those who do not, you can’t go wrong; they all work up really well and my granddaughter has loved everything made from them. In fact, she is now helping embellish and suggesting variations on them. Really these are all classics that you will use over and over . . .

My vote this week goes to the Sorrento Top. I love the braided trim – so classy! Thanks for the opportunity to vote. Have a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Your generosity is
very much appreciated by your low income senior followers. God bless you in all your charitable work. Not everyone is as generous as you are.

Went with the v-neck Tshirt. The only one I already have is the baseball Tshirt, so would be happy with any of the others. Have a few in my wish list that I’ll download on Friday regardless of which one wins. Thanks for your generosity. I’m a fan of pixiefaire and will continue to shop here. Just about at 100 patterns!

Regardless, Freebie Friday or not I will continue to support and will return to purchase patterns. A big thank you and Merry Christmas @ happy new year?

I voted for the V-neck top because I have the others (from previous Freebie Fridays) – and love them all! Thank you for your generosity! I always look forward to finding out which patterns are up for vote, then happily returning on Friday to download the winner (and sometimes I purchase another pattern to go with it!) I agree with what Judi said – “Ahh, the money I could save if they canceled Freebie Friday!”

Thank you for your ongoing generosity. Agree that this Freebie Friday is a wonderful thing for those on fixed incomes so their girls might also enjoy the wonderful patterns put forth by Pixie Faire/Liberty Jane, etc. I do agree with Laura Smith, we should all appreciate your generosity and be thankful you do what you do so very well!!! Thank you, and Merry Christ-mas!

THANK YOU for Freebie Friday! It’s so exciting to see what’s being offered and having to vote for it and then getting the surprise in the email of the pattern that won most votes…I love it and so do my girls :) they get all excited and giggly and happy. It’s like getting a present each Friday and they can’t wait to try out the new pattern for their dolls (with my help of course). Voted for the peplum top, but all are nice and looking forward to see which one gets the vote.

The Peplum top please. I am new to Pixie Faire and had no patterns for my daughter’s American Girl doll she is getting for Christmas, so totally appreciate the free patterns on offer. I have purchased a large number of patterns already, but still find myself coming back every Friday to see what the free patterns are on offer and quite often find new patterns added to the site that I want to buy. If it wasn’t for Freebie Friday I probably wouldn’t visit the site nearly as much. Thank you Pixie Faire for your wonderful patterns and awesome inspiration!!

I agree with Bev that the Freebie Friday is a really good thing for low income and us seniors. I push this program to all my friends and anyone else who shows an interest in the AG girls. I know that I try to purchase at least one pattern a week on Freebie Friday. I wouldn’t hardly come to this site as often without it. Ahhh, the money I would save if they cancelled Freebie Friday.

In reference to a Margaret who made the comment re how you should discontinue the Freebie friday I would like to say that many people can sew because of this program and are of low income and they would be sad to see it go. On the other hand it is also a great marketing strategy, as I know when ordering the freebe I order another pattern on many occasions! I thank you for the program.

Thank you for offering a free pattern each week. I do have all the patterns that are offered today but I enjoy reading the comments of others that may be just finding Pixie Faire. I have many patterns and can sew the ones I already have for many, many weeks…months… I appreciate the program and support Pixie Faire by buying many patterns and telling all my sewing friends and Bernina Club members about this terrific website. I am very grateful for all that you do, not the least of which is help others that are less fortunate than we are!!!!

Some comments have reminded me of the true story of the man who gave money each day to people on the street, first they where grateful, then demanding, then complaining! Perhaps it’s time to discontinue this generous gift we have had. Maybe you should sell these patterns at 1/2 price instead and the proceeds could go to sellers or even Sew Powerful. Thank you for your generosity and I might add I do know not all have this unhealthy attitude!

I voted for the v-neck but I sincerely wish the company would/could put up some different designs—esp. for the people who have been with them and also purchased designs—to make it fair for them too. Possibly the people who advertise with them would be willing to add a design—just my thoughts.
