More About Each Pattern:

Boomerit Falls Dress For 18 Inch Dolls: The Boomerit Falls Dress is straight out of the pages of the latest Outback Libby book: Mystery on Lightning Ridge! Libby may have moved to the middle of nowhere, but that doesn't mean she can't bring her fashion sense with her to the Outback! This beautifully detailed and ultra feminine dress is sure to delight! The bodice features princess seams and rows of the tiniest pintucks at center front. At the back there is a center panel with tiny rows of elastic shirring to create a smocked look and provide the perfect fit. The side back and waistband feature a delicate crochet lace overlay. Suggested fabrics include cotton voile or other lightweight cottons, handkerchief linen, and lightweight rayon. The lining can be made from any suitable fabric to match the dress. If using a white cotton voile, you could also use this for the lining. For our turqoise dress, as pictured, we used a lightweight linen for a fun pop of color!

The Baseball Tee For 18 Inch Dolls: The Liberty Jane Classic Baseball T-shirt PDF Pattern will delight your 18 inch American Girl Doll! The raglan style sleeve is perfect for a beginner because it is a straight seam, not curved or sewn in a circle. Sewing a zig zag seam is an optional way to finish seams, but not necessary to make the t-shirt.

The Sorrento Top For 18 Inch Dolls: This popular top from the Liberty Jane Spring 2011 International Collection has been revised for 2014 to include the By The Boardwalk variation! We've added 8 pages of new instruction to include two complete variations. The 5 strand braid instructions with full color steps are included as well! The Sorrento Top is designed to fit an 18 inch American Girl ® Doll! This design is easy to sew and works with a variety of trims! Have a hard time finding trims? The braid variation can be made without any trims, simply use strips of scrap fabrics to create a unique look. Tips included for sewing with knit fabric which will help prevent stretching and produce evenly stitched hems! Suggested fabrics include: lightweight knit (rayon spandex), rayon, and silky blends

The V-Neck Tee For 18 Inch Dolls: A v-neck tee is a great addition to any doll’s wardrobe! Liberty Jane is excited to offer you this PDF sewing pattern to teach you how to do this “lapped v” technique. This is a perfect project for using upcycled t-shirts that you might have lying around. There are 11 pages of full color step by step instruction as well as 1 page of text only summary of  instructions to save on printer ink! These full color easy to follow instructions walk you through each step in completing your American Girl ® dolls new v neck shirt.

Voted for the Boomerit Falls Dress, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it offered for Freebie Friday before and I’m glad to see it get some well-deserved love! :)

I just love the dress and my granddaughter wants one for her new doll.

Voted for the dress… it’s the only one I don’t have, and it’s so springy and fresh and fun! Thanks, Cinnamon and Pixie Faire, for doing the Friday Freebie.

Marillyn, I don’t know if you’ll see this, but I’ve been working on a doll hijab (head scarf) and abaya (dress like “cloak/coat”) (no doubt similar to what the family from Syria wears) for awhile. I’d LOVE to get involved with this and sew this little girl an “Islamic” outfit for her new doll. It’ll be a way of tying her “old life” to her new one in Canada. Hopefully Cinnamon can connect us, or you see this (my Facebook name is the same as my name on here), and we can work together to make things awesome for this sweet child and her family!
