More About Liese & Doll Tag Clothing: We'll let Liese share her story with us in her own words...I am a mother of 3 living in South Africa, 2 boys and a girl. I come from a sewing family and started at a very young age. I fell in love with American Girl while travelling in the United States and couldn't wait to start sewing for her. When my daughter was born the fun began! I published my first pattern 3 years ago at PixieFaire and the journey has been a blessing in so many ways! I am also the proud owner of a small doll line called South African Girl Doll. I believe that every girl should have a doll of her own that she can love and dress as often as she pleases. Wow! Talk about diversity! I’m kind of stunned because the four patterns are all such different choices. I’m happy to see a Firefighter uniform. That’s great. The Gym Class patterns offer a classic pieces that would be useful. The skirt is kind of Steampunk fun . . . but I had to choose the Rodeo outfits. My granddaughter is into horses right now and has spent Summers past at a “Pony Camp.” The outfits look like what she wears. Thanks for putting this together for us and good luck with your doll line! ;-)
My daughter still treasures her dolls, but she is now a Jr. Firefighter with our local volunteer fire company. Turnout gear for AG dolls—wow! Thankyou Liese!
