More About Elizabeth and Ladybug Doll Quilt Patterns, (in her own words): 
"My love of dolls began in 1978 when I received my first My Friend Mandy® doll, who soon became my closest friend and confidant. I spent many wonderful, magical childhood years with Mandy, and have no doubt that she enriched my life, helped build my imagination, and provided emotional comfort to me through the transitions of childhood. When I adopted my daughter in 1999 I began to quilt, and developed a love for fabric, thread, and the beauty of handmade quilts. I began to develop my own patterns, selling them to quilt lovers for over 10 years in my quilt pattern company. As my children grew and moved away from their childhood playthings, I moved closer to mine, falling back in love with dolls and their magic. My quilts grew smaller, and my quilt room became populated with the new recipients of those tiny quilts. Now I focus primarily on making doll quilts and doll quilt patterns, and am thrilled to make them available through Pixie Faire. And Mandy? Well, she still has the top shelf in my quilt room, but is thrilled to have so many new friends to model our doll quilts with!"
