"My love of dolls began in 1978 when I received my first My Friend Mandy® doll, who soon became my closest friend and confidant. I spent many wonderful, magical childhood years with Mandy, and have no doubt that she enriched my life, helped build my imagination, and provided emotional comfort to me through the transitions of childhood. When I adopted my daughter in 1999 I began to quilt, and developed a love for fabric, thread, and the beauty of handmade quilts. I began to develop my own patterns, selling them to quilt lovers for over 10 years in my quilt pattern company. Being a full size bed quilter I am delighted to have a pattern for doll quilts. Nice change of pace to have a fast to-do project. I’m sure the little girls in my family are going to be delighted with a new quilt for their dolls.
Thank you for the cute pattern this week. It is so adorable with cute spring prints. You could make these to fit each season using seasonal fabrics. one to look like Spring, one with Summer prints, one with Fall prints and finally Winter or Christmas prints.
