Free Doll Clothes Pattern (April 21st, 2017) Help Us Spread The Word

Hi everyone,

On Friday (April 21st) we'll have a brand new pattern free for one day only. It's brought to us by Karen Wadsworth the designer behind the popular Forever 18 Inches brand. Help us spread the word and be sure to come back to Pixie Faire on Friday and download your free copy (you can also see the details in our Friday Newsletter)!

More About Karen In Her Own Words: I've always loved dolls. My tenth birthday present from my mother was an honest-to-goodness sewing basket filled to the brim with supplies, and a Barbie pattern. I was in heaven! I sewed throughout my high school years, and then began again when my great nieces received American Girl dolls. My teenage sons were horrified that their mother was playing with dolls. During that time I also discovered Liberty Jane patterns. Wow--stylish, detailed patterns for dolls with fantastic instructions and a beautiful fit! Before I realized what was happening I was designing my own patterns. Partnering with PixieFaire as a seller and designer has been such a fun adventure! I'm grateful to those of you who have become customers and friends along the way. This pattern is my thank you to all of you--enjoy!

More Information About The New Pattern: If you love Hawaiian and Tahitian history, the Aloha Hula Accessories are for you! Hula is more than a dance--its roots are part of the foundation of Hawaiian culture and relate history, religion, love, and beauty through symbolic movement and music.

You can make an authentic grass skirt with this pattern, as well as a Lei, Wristlets and Anklets, and even a Hip Hei (Hip Belt) that imitates Ti leaves. All items are made with easily located materials that can be found in your local craft store or through on-line sources.

A sewing machine isn't needed to make these craft items--just a minimal amount of basic hand-sewing is required to gather the "Ti Leaves" for the Hip Hei. The leaves decorating the belt can also be smaller, shorter, or thinner, and simply be glued onto the belt--the choice is up to you. Make an item each night while viewing your favorite chick flick!

The pattern is designed to be paired with the Forever 18 Inches Aloha Vintage Swimsuit Top and Bloomers for an authentic historical ensemble (to be released on 4/20/17). Your doll will be ready for sun, fun, and island breezes!
