Free Doll Clothes Pattern (June 16, 2017) Help Us Decide

Hi everyone,

On Friday (June 16th, 2017) we are offering a free doll clothes pattern from Cherie Peden of Ma Petite Cherie Couture. Be sure to vote today and then come back and get your copy of the winning pattern on Friday.

More About Cherie: I have been sewing since I was about 4 years old. I learned to sew at my mothers knee. I learned to sew Barbie clothes not by hand but by machine. I remember when I was about 10 seeing an outfit that my Grandmother had made for her Barbie that she had done completely by hand and thinking why would anyone take that kind of time. I learned to crochet at age 7 again under my mothers watchful eye. I also learned to knit but as crochet builds faster knitting fell the way of hand sewing I do if needed. I am the wife to a software engineer and mother to 4 daughters that I home schooled for most of their elementary years. When I am not designing and writing doll clothes patterns I work as a teachers aide in a private school.

Oh. I’m so slow this week! I missed putting in my vote for the adorable detailed classic button up suits. Busy nursing my little dog back from almost death after a dreadful road accident. Relieved she is out of the woods, but it’s been a scary week
The button up set is exceptional. I love the detail. Gorgeous. I’m a sucker for pintucks and piping! So will just have to put it on my shopping list?
Thanks so much for Freebie Friday. It’s lovely.

Thank you Cherie the pattern’s are all really cute but I think I would like for Cool Summer Ruffles to win this week. I sure had a hard time not choosing the beautiful Vest, I crochet a lot. Have a wonderful week.

Really frustrated here, too. Checking for Freebie Fridays on Wednesday is a high spot on the week. (Yes, I know, I have no life. But this is fun for those who sew!) Anyhow, I love taking part in the pole and feeling like my opinion counts, too, and this is the 2nd week in a row I’ve never gotten to put my 2 cents in.

Any chance you guys can fix this before it happens too much again? Really puts a damper on things, not that I’m not grateful, I am. It just feels good knowing you contributed, even if you lost. :)

It’s Thursday evening. 10:09 pm. This is not cool. The poll is already closed. As it is I dislike having to wait until Thursday every week to vote. We should be able to cast our vote anytime after Monday. I’ve never understood this.

Once again, began checking for the voting on Freebie Friday on WEDNESDAY, checked periodically through the day and again today. Now I’m on and the poll is closed before I even had a chance to vote! What’s the deal with this?! I love the free patterns, but I also want to vote for the one I like best. Sounds like many others are having the same issue. It’d be nice to have an email or something explaining why so many of us are missing the voting window.

Started looking for this weeks Freebie Friday on Wed and checked several times today, but it didn’t pop up until just after 4:30 and IT WAS ALREADY CLOSED! It’s really frustrating. How do you all find it before it closes? It’s always been so much fun to vote and find out which one won.

Thank you for your generosity, Cherie.
All your patterns are fabulous, but since I (as well as my daughter and granddaughters) have 18" dolls, those are the patterns we prefer.
I voted for the cool summer ruffles, but even the crocheted vest is absolutely adorable.
Thank you!
