More About Each Pattern:

Denim Mini Skirt Designed to Fit 18 Inch Dolls (New 2018 Updated Version):  The Liberty Jane® Denim Mini Skirt 18 inch Doll Clothes PDF Pattern. Classic mini skirt style! If your AG Doll doesn’t want to wear a classic denim mini skirt, we’d be shocked! Have you asked her lately? Is she permanently stuck in 1774? Maybe you should let her out, just for an afternoon! If you take her to the mall, she’s going to see Hollister, then you’re going to be in big trouble. She’ll never want to put that long dress on again. So her knees show, is that really such a big deal when you’ve got pretty and lean plastic legs? It’s your choice of course, but we think she might like it! And the best part, of course, this fun mini skirt is simple to make. Once you learn how you can do dozens of variations with different colors and fabric styles.

I already have this one and thanks again Cinnamon.

Thank you for the patterns.

AG size doesn’t resize that well for smaller dolls as the AGs are much wider for their height than all-vinyl dolls like KnC, Wellie Wishers and AGAT (AG proportions are more toddler-like with their shorter limbs and wider bodies compared to the older child proportions of the other dolls).

It’s a great basic pattern to have and I shall be glad to get it in any size, but I have so many 18" size patterns because they nearly always end up being picked. I don’t think there is a solution to make everyone happy – if we were voting on every size except 18" people will be unhappy none of the sizes fit their doll. It would be nice though if sometimes slim 18"/AGAT/BFC sizes won sometimes.

I like the mini skirt for A Girl for all time – I once made “pedal pushers” and sewed the seam down the crotch – I was 12 – OOPS!

Donna

This is a fun pattern! As always thank you so much Cinnamon for Freebie Friday fun!
