I taught myself to sew when I was a very young 20 year old, who was starting a new job, and needed a quick wardrobe. I moved on to sewing for the home when I purchased my first house. When my daughters started collecting American Girl Dolls, I found I could make most of the clothes in one evening….and that was it…..I was hooked by the instant gratification! Designing and sewing for American Girl Dolls has become a passion for me. Partnering with Pixie Faire is a both a thrill and an honor!

1912 Apron dress: This 18-inch Doll Clothes PDF Pattern from Eden Ava will make the perfect addition to your doll's historical wardrobe. The knee-length dress features a pleated skirt and is adorned with a sash that weaves through the apron front and ties into a bow in the back. The dress buttons in the back. Sleeves are 3/4 length and are embellished with velvet trim. The apron front and neckline feature contrast piping in the same velvet trim as the sleeve. Glass beads embellish the button holes.

Oh! Thank you, thank you, thank you! All of your patterns are very cute! This is a tough decision. I’ve had my eye on the Peppermint Snow outfit for a while – but I told myself to finish other projects first. This would be right in time for the holidays!
