Free Doll Clothes Pattern (Nov.17, 2017) Help Us Decide!

More About Tara and Knot Sew Cute (in her own words):

Designing for dolls started for me when my daughter received her first doll. Immediately, the creating began! As we all know, a girl can't just own one outfit!! I'm not a sewist, at all, so I turned to what I know best...crochet.  As a crochet pattern designer for the last 9 years, I have stitched many full size accessories and home decor items. It has been a fun twist to now recreate them in doll sizes. I hope that my crochet patterns inspire you to pick up your hook and yarn and join the ever growing trend of the fiber arts.

More information about the pattern:

Ombre Infinity Scarf Tunisian Crochet Pattern for 18" Dolls:  Time to bundle up! The cold weather is approaching quickly.  I love how the colours flow into one another in this infinity scarf, giving it so much interest. Three coordinating colours create 4 repeated colour blocks. The scarf can be soft and subtle or as loud and bright as you wish. Coming up with different colour combinations is half the fun! You can really make your doll's personality shine with this scarf. This scarf is created using tunisian crochet so a basic knowledge of tunisian crochet is recommended. The pattern uses 2 strands of lace weight yarn held together. The photos show it done in Knit Picks Alpaca Cloud (100% baby alpaca) but any comparable yarn can be easily substituted.

Ombre Infinity Scarf Tunisian Crochet Pattern for 14.5" Dolls:  Time to bundle up! Felted Slipers Crochet & Felting Pattern for 18" Dolls:  Don't forget to pack your slippers for your sleepover!! These little slippers are warm and fuzzy and the perfect addition to your doll's wardrobe. These slippers are created by simple crochet stitches then felted to give them a completely new look. You will be amazed at how they transform. They are designed to not slip off so they will soon become a favorite. A tab at the heel of the slipper assists even the littlest of hands to get them on.

Knotted Headband Tunisian Crochet Pattern for 18" Dolls:  Protect those little ears from the wind and chill in style! This tunisian crochet pattern produces a stretchy headband for your 18" dolls. It is worked flat and joined at the ends. It is made up of simple tunisian crochet stitches and works up quickly making it a great first project for those unfamiliar with the craft. A basic knowledge of tunisian simple, knit, and purl stitches are recommended.

Sad… I was trying to keep an eye out for the voting… but it only showed up for me literally a few minutes ago (it’s now after 2 am Thursday… going into Friday) and it’s way too late to vote. While all the patterns are cute and thankfully crochet (I can’t knit to save my life hehe), I would really have liked to get in my vote for my choice (I would have voted for the felted slippers, actually). I do thank you for having such cute patterns and sharing with us though.

Glad I’m not alone and that others mentioned that they’ve been looking for the Friday vote/notification for a few days – because, I thought I must be doing something wrong looking in the wrong places or . . . just sayin’ glad it’s not me! So, that being said, the choice of patterns look like any one of them would be fun! Thanks!

Darn, I missed voting too, even though I’ve been watching for it all week :(
The free pattern is greatly appreciated, though! And I’m really glad to see crochet patterns since I can kind of crochet (just not very well), but am hopeless with knitting :)

I would have like to have voted, too. All the patterns are very cute. I’ve checked several times for the poll. Like Nancy, I’m in the Eastern time zone. When I saw the poll around 11 P.M. or so, it was closed. :(

Love the slippers because you just don’t find many patterns for the doll’s feet. Scarfs are cute too but that I can figure out pretty much myself.

What a fun surprise this week! I think the slippers are super cute- it looks like a great project for the chilly days and nights ahead. I haven’t crocheted in awhile (about 20 years), but maybe relearning will be a new year’s resolution! Thank you for which ever pattern wins!

Thanks for the fun patterns! I always like having something on my hook or needles to take places with me. (can’t take the sewing machine to the dentist, etc!) It will be fun to have a new pattern to try out. I’m choosing the felted slippers. :)
