Hi everyone,
On Friday (October 13th) we are offering a free doll clothes pattern from Diane Cusack of 18 On Main. Help us decide which pattern should be free and then come back on Friday to get your free copy!
More About Diane Cusack and 18 On Main, (in her own words): For me, it’s all about that little spark of magic that happens when you see kids touch a new outfit for the first time. How they touch it and look it over, inspecting all the little details. I try to design pieces that will keep that spark alive long after its sewn. It’s a great compliment when I hear adults say my patterns remind them of their youth. Success? It’s knowing I’ve brought a smile, maybe taught something new or added some fun imagination to their play. I enjoy designing pieces that kids can really play with. It’s magical job to know that I’m in the business of designing smiles for little faces.

More About Each Pattern:
My Baby Blanket Sleeper Designed To Fit 15 Inch Bitty Baby® Dolls: The extra-huggable comfort of a soft, wearable blanket pajama will swaddle her baby doll in warmth she won’t want to kick off. What baby doesn’t want to be cuddled to sleep and then laid down to dream sweetly throughout the night without waking up cold or overheated! Sew up the perfect snowsuit bunting for her best friend to bundle up in this winter while traveling close or far. The cozy, soft hood is fully lined and has a generous collar to keep out drafts and melting snowflakes. As a coat, My Baby Blanket Sleeper is generously sized to easily slip over diaper and rompers to provide warm comfort when the wind begins to blow this cold season. The easy to dress, zip front unzips for easy diaper changes and even has a safety snap-tab over the zipper to protect baby’s precious chin. Super snuggly soft, lightweight microfiber fleeces or flannels will keep your doll comfy and cozy through the night or into the snow. Your little angel will feel safe and secure cuddled up with her favorite baby doll dressed in such soft, sweet comfort. Both your little ones will sleep like a baby! This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 15" baby dolls such as Bitty Baby®and Bitty Twins®. Recommended Fabrics: Soft, lightweight microfiber fleeces or flannels work great for the blanket sleeper and woven or plush fabric works great for the snowsuit bunting with hood. Some stretch is nice, but avoid excessively stretchy fleeces.
My Baby Diaper Designed To Fit 15 Inch Bitty Baby® Dolls: Every new Mommy knows she needs a basket full of diapers for her sweet baby dolls. This simple and fast pattern will supply a whole diaper service worth of washable and re-usable diapers, enough to provide endless hours of fun. Its two-piece design makes it easy to mix and match fabrics; perfect for twin diapers as well. A curved front flap offers plenty of style and hook and loop tape closures make it easy for little hands to open and close all by themselves. Somehow magic happens when little hands learn to care for their dolls and playtime becomes about nurturing others. It’s those lovely life skills that imaginative play is all about. This PDF sewing pattern is design to fit 15" baby dolls such as Bitty Baby® and Bitty Twins®. Recommended Fabrics: Any fabric without too much stretch will work great. Cotton prints make a cute diaper full of color. Flannel prints and lightweight fleece also work well. For a thinner diaper that works under tight outfits, line with a simple cotton weave. For a more traditional feel, go with a plusher lining fabric like a flannel or lightweight fleece.
My Baby Girl Romper Designed To Fit 15 Inch Bitty Baby® Dolls: Do you remember that sweet baby romper you dressed your little girl in when she was so tiny? My Baby Girl Romper will allow your little mommy in training to wrap that same sweet memory around her favorite playmate. A perfect play outfit for baby dolls like Bitty Baby that will work year round and can be sewn over and over to create a trunk full of special memories. The My Baby Girl Romper PDF sewing pattern even comes with two delightful romper styles and an all-in-one sewing construction, making it child’s play for her little hands to dress her baby. You will appreciate the easy sewing construction (no binding needed) and the simple elastic leg casing that allows plenty of room to go over My Baby Diaper as well. Bitty Twin sisters can rest assured we haven’t forgotten their brothers, but this one is all about surrounding her in comfortable tradition everyone remembers. Recommended Fabrics: Any fabric without too much stretch will work. Cotton prints are cute and colorful.
My Baby Sitter Designed To Fit 15 Inch Bitty Baby® Dolls: Your baby doll is sure to love My Baby Sitter, a cushy, soft pillow that is easy to personalize with machine embroidery or purchased accents. There is a ring of little pockets across the back to conveniently store a few baby accessories like bottles, food and toys. While some baby dolls have a hard time sitting upright, your baby doll will be sitting up tall with a pillow all around her middle. It is the perfect support for bottle feeding or propping up for that all important tummy time. When it’s time to sleep all snug as a bug in a cozy, little boppy shaped nest, simply press the applique to play a soft lullaby from the hidden music button! So many ways to make play time - fun time! From support to decorative design possibilities, My Baby Sitter pillow is sure to be among the most irresistible and favorite accents to brighten your baby doll nursery and just the thing every mommy-in-training will want. Don’t forget, it’s easy to make one for all the baby girls and baby boys on your gift list. The functionality of this design makes it a great tool for people needing to take doll photos. Sew one up in white or black to use as a perfect doll prop. You will never have to hunt for something suitable again! This PDF sewing pattern was designed for 15" dolls such as Bitty Baby® but will work with nearly any baby doll out there. Recommended Fabrics: Any fabric without too much stretch will work great. Cotton prints are cute and colorful. Flannel prints and lightweight fleece also work well.
