More information about the patterns:

The Sweet Tee Pattern Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl: Is your doll ready for a comfortable, cute new tee shirt? You will be able to sew this "Sweet Tee" together quickly and even repurpose one of those old tee shirts you're not wearing anymore. This tee shirt would go nicely with shorts, jeans or a casual skirt. Our cover girl is wearing shorts from Sun & Sand Shorts Set and is ready to spend a nice summer day with friends. Though rated for the intermediate sewist, a confident beginner should be able to construct this tee shirt with a little patience on the gathers and waistband.  This PDF sewing pattern has been designed to fit 18 inch dolls such as American Girl®.

The Sun And Sand Shorts Set Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl: From sidewalk to sand, this 1940's-inspired crop top and shorts set is perfect for a walk around town or a game of beach volleyball with friends. The top's bodice is fully lined with instructions for a button-up closure or a Velcro closure, you choose. The shorts offer a cute button side closure and an elastic waistband in the back for a nice fit around the waist. Although this is an intermediate level pattern, it goes together very quickly.

The Flour Sack Frock Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl: When she finishes sewing this dress from the flour sack fabric she chose at the market, she'll look great whether going to school or helping around the house. Comfortable and cute, this short-sleeved dress features a crossover mock-buttoned bodice slightly dropped at the waist. Also Included are instructions for miniature flour sacks and printable labels.

The Hinata Halter Dress Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl: Hinata is Latin for "sunny place" or "in the sun". With this halter dress, your doll will be ready for those sunny days with either the short version or the maxi. This pattern goes together quickly and easily with just a 1/4 yard of fabric. You will learn an easy way to construct a "set-in" waistband seam. For a fun look, use a coordinating fabric for the waistband.

I vote for the flour sack dress. I actually have a few old flour sacks and my granddaughter has Kit, so that would be perfect. I also remember having clothes made from flour sacks! Mostly they were “play clothes”.

Thank you so much, Leah and Pixie Faire! It was a tough choice, but Kit was whispering in my ear that she’d love a new Flour Sack Dress, so how could I resist?
