Hi everyone,
On Friday (August 26, 2016) we're offering a free doll clothes pattern from Karen Wadsworth of Forever 18 Inches as a special one-day only event rather than having the "normal" Freebie Friday voting. We'd love to have you help us spread the word and be sure to get your copy!
More About Karen Wadsworth and Forever 18 Inches, (in her own words).
I've always loved dolls. My tenth birthday present from my mother was an honest-to-goodness sewing basket filled to the brim with supplies, and a Barbie pattern. I was in heaven! I sewed throughout my high school years, and then began again when my great nieces received American Girl dolls. My teenage sons were horrified that their mother was playing with dolls. During that time I also discovered Liberty Jane patterns. Wow--stylish, detailed patterns for dolls with fantastic instructions and a beautiful fit! Before I realized what was happening I was designing my own patterns. Partnering with PixieFaire as a seller and designer has been such a fun adventure! I'm grateful to those of you who have become customers and friends along the way. This pattern is my thank you to all of you--enjoy!

Wow. The first time I looked at this pattern it took me right back to the suits my mother would wear to church. Making this suit will make me feel closer to her since she passed away 10 years ago. It will be lots of fun to make.
Thank you making this pattern available.
looks like something Jackie O would wear.
Thank you Karen and Pixiefaire for another excellent choice for our Freebie Friday. This could also be Mary Tyler-Moore, or That Girl Marlo Thomas look as well as Jackie O. Jackie is smiling from Heaven at the thought of all of us copying her way of dress. Groovy 1960’s. Go Flower Children!
Thank you for a ‘classic’ design. We were in DC at the time my home town had the tragic event happen, tears were shed for the Kennedys and Dallas and we who now live back home still grieve for our country. This design will give many a parent a way to explain events to her child. Thank you again. And God Bless The United States1
As usual Karen you have outdone yourself. I love how easy this pattern is and it is beyond elegant!
Whoa……sweet pattern. Thank you for sharing it. Looking forward to Friday.

I literally gasped when I saw this adorable outfit on Pinterest the other day. I am truly flabbergasted at your amazing generosity. So many of us from the 1960’s remember this charming style and now can convey that same love to our grandchildren, while getting to be kids again, ourselves.Thank you so much!!
