"As a mother to four adorable girls, I have always loved sewing little girly things for them. When they started growing out of ruffles and bows, I started sewing miniature versions of my favorite things. In searching for a way to fund my hobby, I found that designing patterns for dolls was almost as much fun as sewing for them. My (real) girls play an active role in my designs, sharing ideas and opinions, and providing artwork for parts of the patterns. My husband patiently tolerates the fabric stashes around the house, the dolls all over the dining room table, and the threads on the bottom of his socks!
It has been so much fun to partner with the Pixie Faire team for the past three years. Thank you for continuing to shop through our patterns. I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed creating them!"
Inquiring Minds Want To Know:
Q: What inspired your brand name?
When I was trying to decide what to name my brand, I knew I wanted something short, catchy, easy to spell and remember, while still representing me and what I do.
Q: What’s your favorite sewing tip?
Press every seam. I learned this in a quilting class, and I feel that taking the time to do that has really helped the overall look of my sewing projects. Now, it’s second nature to turn on my iron before I turn on my sewing machine.
Q: Is there a new hobby, craft, or skill you’d like to learn?
I’ve always wanted to learn how to play the piano. I started lessons when my kids were taking them, but as a busy mom of three it just got to be too much. Now that I have a little more white space in my life, maybe it’s time to try again.
Q: Who is your favorite doll?
My favorite doll is still my first one. Nellie - the little Irish orphan. I love her unique hair and cute freckles.
Q: What’s your favorite flower or plant?
My favorite flower is the sunflower!
We'd love to hear from you. Leave a comment and tell us which My Angie Girl design pattern you love most!
Thanks, everyone!
The Pixie Faire Team
So many pretty dresses, but I particularly love the Halter Sundress! :)
It’s hard to choose a favorite, there’s quite a few that I really like! I think I’ll go with the Colonial Gown because I’ve been wanting to make that one for a while already.
I love how your patterns step back to a simpler time. They bring a smile to my face!
All of these patterns are so cute!
There’s more than one but the one I prefer is the18th Century Colonial Gown.
My favorite pattern from My Angie Girl is the Over The Door Organizer. I just love the row for shoes and the fact that you can mix up the rows to suit your needs. Genius!

I have two very favorite patterns from My Angie Girl: The Lovely V-Waist Dress is just so beautiful when I make it, and the Scalloped Yoke Dress for Bitty Baby is adorable when I find cute farm animal prints. I’ve made a few of both the gathered and pleated versions. Thanks for your designs.
I love all pattern and love that she has pattern for bitty baby doll too my favorite pattern is 4 way outfit .
Sailorette! I love all the details that make this the classic that it is. Also, thank you for making it in two sizes!!
I like sweet essentials 18" doll dress. It is the cutest for me.
I love the 50s and 60s vibe of so many My Angie Girl patterns. My current favourite is the Shortie Pyjamas patterm, but the new smocked dress had me at hello!
Your fashions remind me of when I was a little girl. Every little girl in grade school had these lovely dresses with crinoline petticoats. It was the fashion. Even the little cotton frocks had the petticoats. Thank you, your designs are lovely.
The lovely v-waist dress is my favorite. It reminds me of some of my favorite late 80s dresses that I wore.
I appreciate the crisp details in your patterns. So many patterns are sloppy and look sloppy on the girl.
I just love your designs. I have many of your patterns and love that there are so many sweet classic looks. I can’t tell you how many times I have used and reused “Sweet Essentials” – probably my favorite.
I love the shortie nightgown set. It looks great on my dolls.
I love all the details of her patterns.
I just love your patterns! My favorite though is your “Ruffled Shortie” nightie pattern. It reminds me of the little nighties I wore as a child. Have you ever considered making patterns for the little bitty baby dolls? I’d love to see that pattern especially in that size!
All the patterns are lovely. I especially like the 18th century Colonial gown, Sailorette, and the ruffled nightgown.
Growing up as a child I always wanted a dress with a sailor collar. My wish has has finally come true with both Sailorette patterns.
I absolutely love all the girly details in these patterns! I’m doing more sewing for the 14.5” dolls right now and I’m glad this size is available in many of the patterns. My favorites are the Tutu Cute Dress Up for 14.5” dolls, the Pirate Hat, and Sailorette for 14.5” dolls. Seriously adorable patterns!
Who can choose a favorite? – they are all adorable!! I’ll be adding to my wishlist as well!
I love your patterns, especially the Bitty Baby ones. Right now, I like your new PJ patterns best. I made the one for 18" dolls, and it is so cute. I also have the Bitty Baby size, but haven’t made it yet. I need to do that.
I enjoyed reading what Angela wrote about herself and how she started designing doll clothes.
I love how all the My Angie Girl patterns preserve that lovely and playful childhood innocence. I made a modification using the Lovely V-Waist dress pattern to create a replica of my sister’s 1980s prom dress as a 50th birthday girl. Her dress had been sewn by our aunt and I found scrap fabric when helping clean out her house. I needed the basque waistline from the V-Waist to match the 1980s style. While her original dress is long gone, the doll sized replica was a wonderful surprise gift and a cute memento to keep on her shelf.
My favorites are the Sweet Essentials Dress and Halter Sun-Dress.
I like the looks of most of the patterns, I really like the Classic Yoke Dress.
Since I have MANY of these lovely patterns, I won’t even try to pick a favorite. That’s a bit like choosing a favorite child.
I love all of her patterns. They are so feminine. Her instructions are easy to follow and the fit is always perfect.
Sailorette is my favorite!

When I saw “My Sweet Clara,” I fell in love with your patterns. I had no idea that you had created the new PJ pattern for 14.5 inch dolls, so I am about to purchase it and adjust it just a bit for my 15 inch RRFF. Thanks so much for your beautiful designs! How about the “Halter Sundress” or the “Lovely V-waist dress” for 15" RRFF? I think that they would be a big hit!
The chatty pajamas are too cute! I love all of your patterns, Angela. You capture the whimsy of childhood!
Hard to pick just one, but the lovely V-waist dress reminds me of my favorite square dance dress that I made and wore as a teenager. Now that my dolls have seen it, they want their own.
I like all the patterns at Pixie Fair.
