"I have loved all things crafty since I was a little girl. I learned how to sew from my mom who was an excellent seamstress. I began by making simple shirts and dresses, then Halloween costumes and then on to home décor. I made my first doll in 2010 for my daughter and then began making them as gifts for her friends. I had so many requests that I decided to start a small home-based business and that is how My Sunshine Dolls shop was born. I have recently found a passion for the clothing design process and launched a new brand called J Lyn Boutique that focuses on fashion for 18” dolls. Hope you enjoy my patterns!"

I’ve made several of the My Sunshine Dolls but the Little Ranchers is my favorite. Perhaps because I’m from Texas. The cowboy hat is genius!

I ACTUALLY LOVE ALL THE PATTERNS BUT THE BELLBOTTOM IS THE CUTEST
Sounds like a wonderful life. I work full time in an office and work at home as well. My dream is to leave work and make dolls clothes. I have many many clothes and dressed doll and teddy’s but haven’t been very successful so I’ll have to continue working a little longer. I couldn’t choose a design as they are all fabulous. Each one I look at I simply gasp. Fantastic designs so never give up and I’ll keep praying I’ll be like you some day 🙏
My favorite pattern design from J Lyn Boutique is the Sunshine ‘n Daisies Bundle ( 70’s halter top & bell bottoms). Bell bottoms straight from the 70’s
Love those outfits from the 70’s
I like the 1920’s evening dress very much. Also the animal costumes especially the owl. And Seaside Retreat because my dolls’ best sources for sweaters are “people” ones upcycled as I don’t knit .I like the bell bottom jeans very much. And the jeans skirt! I often make cloth dolls for children and will probably add at least a few My Sunshine patterns to my files. Most like the Mother Love 3 generation pattern would be one. Maybe Little Ranchers for the other or the boy with the guitar and the skateboard. I like that the Sunshine can share many clothes with AG. Also like the tent!

So cute—so much of this looks like it came from my college wardrobe! It was fun then—and it is super fun to be able to make it for my granddaughter’s dolls!
