Get to know Cherie (in her own words): "I have been sewing since I was about 4 years old. I learned to sew at my mother's knee. I learned to sew Barbie clothes not by hand but by machine. I remember when I was about 10 seeing an outfit that my Grandmother had made for her Barbie that she had done completely by hand and thinking why would anyone take that kind of time. I learned to crochet at age 7 again under my mother's watchful eye. I also learned to knit but as crochet builds faster knitting fell the way of hand sewing I do if needed. I am the wife of a software engineer and mother to 4 daughters that I homeschooled for most of their elementary years. When I am not designing and writing doll clothes patterns I work as a teachers aide in a private school."

I think the Study Hall looks best. Thanks again for the wonderful giveaways.
I LOVE to crochet! Very cute pattern. I voted for study hall.
Thank you for the chance to win a complete outfit. I really like the trendsetter.
Little trendsetter is so adorable. My daughter would love this for her doll.
Love little trendsetter!!
You always make it so difficult to choose! In the end, Trendsetter takes my vote. Really appreciate your site, patterns, and opportunities.
Thank you Cherie as well as the Pixie Faire Team for designing such a stylish dress. I absolutely love the color of it as well as the material it is made out of! Anyway, the outfit I think looks best is the “Little Trendsetter” one. I think the dress looks so much better with the shirt, leggings and boots that that doll is wearing with it. Once again, thanks for creating such a nice dress.
I loved the little Trendsetter outfit the best.
Thanks Cherie! I like trendsetter best.
They are both cute but I like the little trendsetter
I love the Trendsetter version with the T-shirt underneath. Such a great look!
love the trendsetter the best.
Thanks for the dress, you can just sent it to jeanne knudsen lol
Very pretty dress.
thanks again
jeanne
love the trendsetter. the student is cute too but the trendsetter looks more cohesive
I voted for little trendsetter, thanks Cherie and the Pixie Faire Team !
study hall is so cute.
I like the trendsetter than the school one. Needless to say they are both adorable.
.
Thanks for the giveaway. I pick Study Hall. Love the outfit.
Thank You, both really cute. I voted for the trendsetter…………
Thank you Cherie. I vote for the trendsetter!
I like study hall. it looks fresh and ready for spring
The Trendsetter just looks more “put together” but, LOVE the crochet dress and how the tights make it come together!
What a tough choice! I love those houndstooth tights, though.
I’m not always a fan of crocheted dresses, but this pattern is gorgeous. Going on the wish list for sure.
Love the Little Trendsetter!
I love both, but I had to chose trendsetter, I love the little purse. The red hair in study hall goes great with the royal blue though. Thanks!
Thank you Cherie and Pixie Faire! Little Trendsetter gets my vote.
Thank you Cherie, Pixie Faire and Liberty Jane for all the wonderful patterns you design and make available for us to create. Cherie, I love to crochet and you made my day with this pattern. It is one of those that can be dressed up for special occasions or for everyday about-town-wear. Obviously, choosing the look I like best was difficult but, for today, I’ll choose the “Treadsetter”.
Thank you all again!
Love them both I have my doll bed My father made for me when I was 8 it bunk bed but only blessed with one doll
Trendsetter! Love the leggings!
Wow, really tough choice! I love the glasses and the backpack in the Study Hall look, but the tights and boots in Trendsetter are just too cute. Thank you Cherie and Pixie Faire team for the giveaway and the styling inspiration!
I vote Trendsetter. Thank You Cherie and the Pixie Faire Team.
Little Trendsetter is my favourite. So cute!
Study Hall is the best look. Her red hair is very striking with the outfit colors.😄
Thank you for such cute outfits! I love Study Hall.
I like this design very much and in other colors I might choose Study Hall. However, the royal blue is such an intense color it needs to be balanced with accessories of an equal weight. The black additions to Little Trendsetter do this successfully. With Study Hall, the red book bag wars with the royal blue and makes the ensemble seem a little uncoordinated. A blue Tam O-Shanter and a book bag in a softer shade would pull this outfit together better. Thanks, Cherie, for sharing this design. I may take up crocheting because my granddaughter would love it!
Little Trendsetter is perfect! It really dresses up the leggings. It would be great in many different colors.
I love the Trend Setter. Love the crochet top.
I love the trendsetter outfit. For us in the Pacific northwest, spring can still be quite chilly, so the long sleeves and leggings will keep her toasty warm and her feet dry no matter how much it rains.
Thank you Cherie and the Pixie Faire Team! The Little Trendsetter is my favourite. I love the outfit and the beautiful blue colour.
I chose trendsetter. Crocheting the dress is a super cute idea and adds so much texture to the outfit!
Love the redhead (I have some in my family!) , but the layered looks best.
I love the trendsetter the best. Since the weather is cold right now, the trendsetter is perfect but love both of them.
Wow, this is a tough choice. Both outfits are so cute. Trend Setter just barely edges out Study Hall because of the slouch boots because it would keep the girls feet warm since we got another 1 1/2 snow and ice last night. Too early for a spring outfit of bare arms and sneakers.
Little Trendsetter – cuteness overload!
I think this outfit is adorable our vote goes for the trendsetter look. Thanks for all you do for all of us.
I like the color blue. I like the study hall the best.
I like them both but the Study Hall ensemble is my favorite. I love her glasses and studious look!! The matching royal blue sneakers completes the outfit!!
I like the trendsetter style better. The leggings and shirt give it that extra ‘cute’ touch. Thanks for the opportunity.
Love the little trend setter
I like the “Trendsetter” the best, she looks like she could get really comfortable and ready to study! Tough choice as always.
I like Little Trendsetter
My vote is for Study Hall because she looks like an accountant in the making (said the CPA!).
I like the trend setter. The dress looks better with the leggings and shirt. Thank you for sharing your talent!
Trendsetter is the best
Thank yo Cherie for this really Cute design! Both cute outfits but I chose trendsetter because it has a shirt underneath the crouched dress.
I love the trendsetter look the best!! I love to crochet, I can see myself whipping these out in 10 different colors!! Thank you Cherie and Pixie Faire! This will help after having been snowbound for weeks. Something to brighten up our days!! Thank you all!!
Tough choice, however, I think Trendsetter wins this competion.
I can’t knit or crochet but my daughter (who has 2 AG doll fans!) can! I voted for Trendsette. I love the look!
I like little trendsetter better with the leggings and stuff. Thank you for the giveaway.
They are both very cute. I like the Study Hall the best. I don’t Tweet or do instagram so I can"t choose those. thanks Cherie an Pixie Fair for the giveaway.
I like the trendsetter best.
I like the Little Trendsetter best!
They are both so cute but i like the Little Trendsetter the best. My daughter loves American Girl Dolls and she would love to have this for 1 of them.
I think little trendsetter’s leggings and boots go very well with this cute little dress! Thanks!
Little Trendsetter is my favorite!!! Love this outfit. Thank you.
I like the Little Trendsetter best! Thanks so much for the giveaway!
The Little Trendsetter is fabulous. Absolutely adore those leggings & boots! Thank you!
I like the Little Trend Setter the best. Happy to see a crochet pattern. I hope more are coming!! Thank you!!
My vote is for Study Hall.
I like the Little Trend Setter the best.
I vote for Study hall. That cute little redhead with glasses is adorable.
Thanks Cherie and Pixie Faire! I love the Little Trendsetter outfit the best!
The little trendsetter gets my vote. Both are very cute.
I loved the little Trendsetter the best, but it was a hard choice! they are both cute!! Thank you Cherie and the Pixie Faire Team for the give-a-way.
Love, love the dress! I am not confident enough in my crocheting ability to try the pattern now but I’m trying more crochet projects. I voted for trendsetter. I like the top and the leggings with the dress. Both outfits are very cute though.
Trend setters is my favorite.
Thank Cherie and Pixie Faire for a chance to win one these adorable ensembles. I voted for Trendsetter, but I’m more of a study kind of “girl”. It would be great to win, as I still haven’t mastered the art of crochet! Thanks again.
I like the blue/black combo
I preferred the Little Trendsetter. I like the shirt and tights under the heavy yarn jumper/dress with boots. It’s more suitable for bad weather.
Definitely the Little Trendsetter. Thank you
Gotta pick Little Trendsetter! Adorable.
Thank you Cherie and Pixie Faire, for Mix and Match Monday! I favor Little Trendsetter Outfit. I like the Contrast of color as well as the Under layering. Great Choice of Color Combinations and Style.
Congrats!
I voted for the little Trendsetter. They are both cute. Thanks for the give-a-way.
Both are so cute! I voted for Little Trendsetter
Really cute!!! my vote is for study hall. Thank you
Thanks, Cherie for a crochet pattern! This looks like it would be fun to make and be a good addition to mix and match with. I like the attention to the waistline in the design of the jumper. Shortened, it would make a great dance, yoga, swim cover up or after skiing/ice skating 3/4 length vest. I voted for the Trendsetter outfit. I think that the jumper looks better with a blouse or shirt under it. Also the Trendsetter style-wise is a bit Audrey Hepburn in “Funny Face” looking. ;-)
I like the Little Trendsetter the best with her dark hair.
I vote for the little trendsetter i looks trendy and so beautiful! Thanks Cherie
Voted for Study Hall because didn’t like the black and blue combination; just too dark! But would prefer a top with the SH jumper.
I prefer Little Trendsetter – the other outfit looks a little bare on the doll
Thanks to Cherie and the Pixie Faire team for such a darling giveaway! I like the Little Trendsetter best because I like the dress with a shirt under it, but I really do like the glasses on the other doll.
I like to go see what other patterns the featured designer has out there. After seeing her crochet designs it makes me wish I was better at crochet. I only use it to edge my knitting right now. She’s got some lovely stuff, especially the Tulip sweater and some of the shoes. Too cute.
I am voting for “Trendsetter”. I like the complete outfit. The other does not stand out as well, though beautiful work on it’s own.
The red backpack is a nice bright note to the outfit, but I still prefer the Little Trendsetter because it is a more trendy look. Thanks for the ideas and for the opportunity. Happy stitching everyone!
I vote for the little trendsetter. Thanks Cherie.
Study hall!! Now if only I could crochet….
I voted for Little Trend Setter because it is different Thank you Cherie and Pixie Faire
Both ways are done well. but I voted for the Little Trendsetter outfit.
