I love the way the dress goes with Mary Ellen’s hair.
I vote Mary Ellen. She looks like she woulld belong in that period
MaryEllen wears it the best. The dress goes well with her coloring.
I like them both but I like MaryEllen looks the best. Wonderful dress.
Maryellen gets my vote as well. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
Maryellen wears it the best! She’s got a frontier face, she’d play well with Kristen! Beautiful dress.
My vote is for Maryellen. She’s so pretty!
MaryEllen gets my vote. :)
Beautiful dress and Maryellen wear it the best.
They both look adorable but I think Maryellen models it best! :-)
maryellen
This was a hard decision. MaryEllen looks like a little Laura Ingalls to me here, but I feel like the colors really set off Z.
i like the dress on Maryellen the best.
I think Maryellen looks cute in this dress!
Maryellen seem to personify the typical girl of the era of the dress.
Checked out the etsy shop love your doll clothes! Hope to design as well as you do. Thanks for sharing this dress with all of us 18" American Doll enthusiasts!
Mary Ellen’s hair makes the dress look great. Both are cute but the hair style on Z Yang detracts from the dress
Beautiful pattern!
While I prefer Z as a doll, MaryEllen feels more historically appropriate in the dress.
My vote goes to Maryellen the coloring of the dress compliments her coloring much better.
They’re both lovely, but I think the dress suits Maryellen’s coloring best.
Both of them are great but I prefer MaryHellen, I love your dolls can’t wait to have one of my own
I love Maryellen’s hair color with this dress!
Love both doll. The dress ? is beautiful.
Maryellen looks lovely in this color combination, definitely suits her!
Voting for MaryEllen. She fits the period of the dress to a “T”.
My vote goes to Maryellen. Her hair color and skin tone resembles my granddaughter. The color of the dress is very complimenting also.
I like Maryellen better in this dress.
The dress is very nice, and Z Yang’s hair is more appropriate for the style.
They both look fabulous but I think Z’s hair makes it look incredible.
I love Maryellen’s coloring with this dress, but her hair isn’t historically accurate so I’m going to have to go with Z, who also looks smashing!
Tough choice! I vote for Z Yang, for the striking combination of dark hair with the orange/coral dress. Mary Ellen is “ok”, but a little washed out.
Z looks beautiful!
Thank you I like Mary Allen she remind me of Laura Ingalls in Little House on Prairie my favorite show back when. It looks like a dress that mom Ingalls would had made for her.
A hard decision to make! I loved both dolls in the dress but went with Maryellen because I loved how her hair matched the dress!
Maryellen! She reminds me of “Little House on the Prairie!”
Maryellen wins my heart! Love it!!
I had to go with Maryellen. She looks more at home in the dress. But they are both lovely dolls!
Mary Ellen. My granddaughter has exactly the same color hair..And I love it.
Laura, the pattern is adorable. Thanks for sharing it! My favorite is Z Yang. She, to me, symbolizes the diversity of our country. Still, Mary Ellen is cute, too.
Marryellen wore it better
Darn! Forgot to say thank you, and that was most important to me! Sorry, and I DO thank you for your generosity.
The color is perfect on Maryellen
This was a hard one for me, but I went with Maryellen. I like Z’s dark hair with the dress color, but Maryellen’s look is a bit cuter.
Thank you Laura! I like both, but I voted for Z. I really like them both the same!!
I love the dress on Maryellen and thank you Laura for giving away such a beautiful dress.
I think it looks best on Z, even though maryellen’s hair matches with the dress
I love the dress on either young lady—but especially on Maryellen. The vivid orange/peach hue really brings out the color in her cheeks and gives her a peachy fresh complexion. Great give away to a lucky winner.
Awesome!! I chose Maryellen. Thanks for the giveaway
This dress is so much more suited to Mary Ellen’s face, hair and eye colour and personality.
She looks adorable in it. Like she’s from the 1800’s.

My friends Ellie and Sophia really like the way Mary Ellen looks in the dress. So do I.
Maryellen looks best in this dress but Z Yang is awfully cute in it. Thanks to Laura for this contest.
Like most people, I say Mary Ellen looks better!
Definitely Maryellen. Looks better with her hair for sure.
I think Maryellen takes the cake!! Everything about this dress bring outs all her beautiful features (hair, eyes and even smile)!!
I love Maryellen. She looks just like my granddaughter and I am so into historical outfits.
I think Mary Ellen, with her hair color, looks the best..
Z is a really cute doll, but I think Maryellen wears it the best. Thank you, Laura for great patterns!
Maryellen reminds me of when I was young with hazel eyes , fair skin and blonde hair with red lights in it, and the dress reminds me of a by-gone era that I wished I could enter. The colonial dress is delicately detailed, and would be lovely in a solid colour as well. I’d love to make it in a soft wool crepe as a fall dress.
Maryellen for the win! The dress color just vibes with her hair and skintone.
Mary Ellen is my choice.
I think Maryellen wears it best. Just love that color hair with the outfit. :)
Beautiful dress. I like the color on Maryellen.
I think Maryellen wears it best! Thanks Laura!!
The peachy pink dress is perfect with Mary Ellen’s peaches and cream skin tones!
Thanks I voted for Maryellen
MaryEllen is my pick.

Maryellen with this style.
Maryelllen just wears the dress naturally. Thank you for sharing your beautiful dress.
Mary Ellen is my pick.
I have made this dress. It was great fun to make.
Both are cute but I think Maryellen!
I think Mary Ellen looks better in this beautiful dress. The colors complement her hair color and eyes and also her hairstyle is definitely more fitting of the time period.

I think Z Yang the color of the dress really brings out the best in Z Yang

Z Yang
