I am a competent sewer. learned how to sew as a child, learned how to read patterns in homec. have made lots of stuff But I have a lot of trouble with tension. is there a way to adjust bottom tension?? Currently I get a lot of loops of thread on the underside. but it is not consistent. I have played with it and adjusted tension and sewn on a scrap piece of fabric and its fine then on my project loops again!!! what could be wrong??

sadly I can’t sew so I can’t make any of the liberty jane patterns for my ag dolls :(
