Hi everyone! Are you ready for Part Three? In this video I am really excited to show you the projects that I have pulled together based on all of the content that we've talked about over the last couple videos in the Sewing With Coordinating Print Fabric series.
As you can see in the video, I went ahead and just created the same Vintage PJs set in two sizes (Vintage Pjs for 18-inch Dolls and Vintage Pjs for 14.5-15 inch dolls), giving me the opportunity to mix up the fabric choices in a little bit in different ways.
With each size project, I am thinking through these different elements:

I love how the two sets came together! Choosing different fabrics allowed me to choose different accent colors with the ribbon which in turn really brings about a totally different look and is pulling or highlighting a main color in a different way. For this example I used Tilda Fabrics Creating Memories Collection #6, there is enough fabric to make both sets, plus extra left over!

So what do you think? Are you ready to try something along these lines?
I've had a lot of fun and I know that I'm excited to work with all of the other fabrics in the collection. We have a broad range of curated sets of the Tilda Creating Memories Spring & Easter Pastels and Summer & Ocean Blues fabric collections at Pixie Faire! We've created sets of three coordinating fabrics, mixing florals and geometrics combined with notions and trims to add that special touch to the items you create!
I have some ideas for the Sewing on the Go Travel Bag that I made in last months topic, I'm planning to use some of the scraps piecing them together to create a new travel bag with a whole different vibe!
Follow along as we continue with this topic and be sure to pop into the group and show us some of the projects that you've been working on, some of the thoughts you've had in creating and combining different types of prints and scale of print, print with stripe, a floral, with a gingham, anything along those lines.
We'd love to see the different chances that you've taken or sort of a challenge that you've given yourself to bring something together in a new way!
Stay tuned next Tuesday as Shari pops back in to show us how she used Tilda Fabrics Creating Memories Collection #5 to make the Keepers Dolly Duds Nancy and Mary Jane Dress!

I loved making both PJ sets for the 18 inch and Wellie wisher doll using the specified Pixie Pack. I however did not have enough Lace to complete both sets and had to improvise with my stash. It was a good thing I had a similar lace.
