Hi Everyone! Welcome back! In this next installment of Sewing With Coordinating Print Fabrics, we'll be taking a look at choosing the fabrics with a specific garment in mind. I'll kick things off with what I've been working on and then Shari will jump in to show a bit of what she has in the works too!
For my project, I'm using the Jelly Bean Soup Designs Vintage PJs pattern. I have a few sets of fabric picked out, and I'm excited to bring you into my studio for a sneak peek!

I'm really hoping you'll give me your input on what fabrics to choose for my project! Do you like the Pink/Gold combo or the Aqua/Olive/Gold combo? Tell me your thoughts in the comments below.

Shari is working an a new version of the Keepers Dolly Duds Nancy and Mary Jane Dress. What do you think of her fabric selection?

You can find the patterns here:
The Tilda Creating Memories fabrics are supposed to arrive today! It's like we're waiting for Christmas morning around here! We'll be processing them as quickly as possible and hope to have a variety of kits ready to go by the end of the week!
I am going to be the odd man out. When Cinnamon placed the gold print onto the pants, it sang to me. All I could see was the gold print as the pants, the pink stripe as the bodice ruffle and the pink print as the bodice top. Either the pink print or the stripe could be the ruffle on the pant legs.
I know that Cinnamon wants the stripe in the pants so the best combo is the aqua/gold/olive.
For me , I prefer the pink combo because the very small flower print is to busy to the eye and it draws all of your attention. You will miss out on the rest of the outfits design.
I like the pink combo. But, the pink stripe scale is too small for that large expanse. It seems imbalanced to me. So, I’d keep the other 2 pink combo fabrics and switch out to the blue stripe fabric. That works for me.
As much as I love pink I think the best combo is the aqua / gold / olive fabric.
the aqua/gold/olive shows more contrast. The other combination has too much pink
I prefer the aqua/gold/olive combo.
I like both combo – best color combo is aqua /gold /olive .
