Cute dress

I found this pattern to be easy and it turned out cute. As a experienced seamstress, I found the instructions adequate. In fact, I appreciated the sparseness . It fit my doll easily.

Hoodie

The instructions on the hood are not clear at all! I had to call up my seamstress friend to figure out how to do it. The hole for the dolls head is so small, it barely fits and messes up the hair. If i hadn't used really stretchy fabric, it wouldn't have fit at all! Had potential, but needs to be better.

Pattern and directions miss steps!

The models show the V on the front of the sweatshirt, so why not mark it on the pattern? I had to guess at how wide and how deep the V should be. Likewise, there is no marking on the pattern for where the pocket should be placed. The tunic length isn't long enough unless you put a band on the bottom; either the pattern length should be adjusted or the band should be part of the pattern and not just an option at the end. The directions never mentioned hemming or finishing the front edge of the hood before it is sewn onto the body of the garment. Finally, the hood opening is so small that it just fits over the doll's head, and messes her hair up getting it off. I'll have to try to remake it, which is very frustrating.

Sporty Looks

This takes a little time but the look is trendy for today's styles. Can be paired with jeans, leggings or worn like an everyday dress. I really like Sandra's patterns. Always great details and pictures to be able to put these outfits together.

The Hoodie Dress Pattern

I have been sewing for 50 years and I did not like this pattern when it came to putting on the hood. In fact, I went looking for '123 Mulberry Street' on the internet and sent a scathing letter to some not-guilty people who had a company by that name. I must have figured it out because I finished the dress. I made this some time last year. I like other patterns from this company, although on one I had to make my own pocket pattern to fit because theirs didn't fit.
