You can make a beautiful historic outfit for your doll with this PDF pattern from Thimbles and Acorns.
This pattern features a beautifully flared jacket that can be made with a hood, collar, or even a plain neckline. It fastens in front with three small snaps. The jacket is fully lined and the 3/4 sleeves are cut at an angle and tucked at the elbow to form a graceful curve.
Also included are instructions for making the historically accurate petticoat.

Supplies Needed:
• Jacket: 1/3 yard lightweight woven fabric such as cotton, gingham, calico, lawn, silk or linen. Not suitable for knits.
• Jacket lining: 1/3 yard lightweight woven fabric such as cotton, gingham, calico, lawn, silk or linen. Not suitable for knits.
• Petticoat: 1/3 yard lightweight woven fabric such as cotton, gingham, calico, lawn, silk, or linen. Not suitable for knits.
• Trims and Notions: Hooded Jacket – thread, three small snaps. Collared Jacket – thread, 10” square of lightweight fusible interfacing, three small snaps. Petticoat - 1 yard of 1/8 inch wide twill tape or ribbon.
