What would you risk to cast your vote? If you could be arrested for it, would you bother? Susan B. Anthony felt that the consequences were worth it. She lived in a time where women, especially married women, had very few rights. Although she did not live to see it, Ms. Anthony's tireless campaign for women's suffrage eventually secured the passing of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, granting American women the right to vote.
This 26-page PDF sewing pattern includes step-by-step instructions that are illustrated with line drawings to show you how to create this stunning outfit, which is based on a photograph of Susan B. Anthony at the California Campaign in 1896. The ensemble includes a ruffled blouse, fully-lined jacket, and floor-length skirt.

I made this for a lady from Colorado for her doll. She has 10 dolls and dresses them for different holidays. She wanted this dress made so I said I would do that. It turned out stunning. It was hard to give it up. The directions are well written and the dress fit like a glove. I love the patterns from this designer. I will make another one someday for my little great granddaughters when they are old enough. If you love historical clothes, you won't be disappointed.
This pattern made a beautiful outfit. I love your detailed instructions. This is doll dressing at a higher level and fun to sew. Thank you so much and keep up the great work.
My goal was to complete this for Susan B Anthony's birthday. I am ahead of schedule. The instructions and illustrations are wonderful. I know I will make this in different fabrics another time. The details make Flossie Potter patterns so worth the effort. Thank you.
I am a little dissapointed in the skirt so far as its was too big in the waist. I checked all measurement and they are correct. Wonder if other people had this issue? Love the pattern though.
