This was so much fun to sew! It is a one piece uniform based off an extant piece. It has a unique opening that I’ve never seen before in doll clothing, it opens in front along the dolls left side. Be careful in following the directions as every step is unique to one side of the Uniform or the other. You won’t be sorry that you tried this pattern. Not only is is a fun display piece for adults, but is a piece that will be easy for children to dress their doll in.
This is such a wonderful pattern. I had the pleasure of getting to test it and I am so glad I took it on. Be sure to follow the directions exactly as that is the only way to ensure it is done correctly. Each little section is made separately, then put together somewhat like a jigsaw puzzle. It is so fun to do, and I think you will really enjoy making this. It is very true to life as well, as it was created from a real life example. Both the uniform and cap makes this so. This would be a great gift for any of your nursing friends or family. I highly recommend this pattern.
Great pattern. This one requires you to pay attention to the instructions. Designer has created an opening I have never seen before. You'll be amazed when you turn the final seam right side out and see what a clever design this is. Great fit. When you choose your white main fabric, be sure to choose a fabric which you can't see through, and which holds a press well. You're going to love the nurse's cap pattern, too. The whole outfit looks so authentic. Perfect for a set-up with the Target OG hospital room with bed and accessories. So much play value. And, perfect for setting up "Call The Midwife" scenes. Need to find a cape and bike to complete the scene!
