Midriff and bell bottoms

The pattern is very user friendly. The pants fit so well. Used gingham for top and it turned out so cute.

1970s Midriff top and Bell Bottom pants

I just finished making the midriff top with the sleeves, as well as the bell bottom pants. and they turned out just as cute as can be. The pattern, even though it was drawn by hand, fits perfectly and the directions were well written and easy to follow. Don't be afraid to buy this pattern. You will be making it again and again. I'm in the process of making another pair of the pants with a knit crop top, and the sleeveless top with a skirt.

In 1974 I wore an outfit much like this. I was able to find a picture of me wearing it and included it with the outfit I made for my granddaughter. She was much surprised that her grandmother wore a style like this. It was great fun.

Great versatile pattern

I know this is called a midriff top pattern, but I used this for a cotton-style cardigan for a pair of custom orders. It was the closest thing I could find for the outfits I was working on and this pattern worked great, with a little alteration. Great, easy-to-follow directions. Thanks so much!
