Recommended Fabrics: old jeans, light weight denim, thin twill or similar fabric types / sheer, laundered cottons or similar fabric types / laundered cottons, broadcloth, velveteen and similar fabric types
Supplies Needed:
• 22’’ x 6’’ of main fabric (top of the skirt): old jeans, light weight denim, thin twill
• 26’’ x 2 ¼’’ and 40’’ x 2 ¼’’ of second fabric (ruffles): sheer, laundered cottons or similar fabric types.
• 9 x 8’’ of third fabric (underskirt): laundered cottons, broadcloth, velveteen....
• 4 ½’’ of ¼‘’ wide elastic
• 2’’ – 3/8’’hook-and-loop strip
• coordinating thread
• fabric chalk or a powdered fabric pencil
• rotary scissors (highly recommended) and large metal ruler
