I live very close to an Amish community, so I was excited to see this pattern. The bonnet brim could be a little bit larger, this one feels more "prairie girl" to me than authentic Amish. I did make a change and modified the dress to fully line the bodice, but I made the dress and black apron in about a day. Very nice pictures with easy to understand instructions. Pretty easy to make.
I have a great time making this. It fir the AD really well. I loved the hat. I would suggest to make sure you have more gathers at top of hat. I didn't have enough and it would have looked a little better if I had. Apron was a little complex but I got it figured out. Instructions are good.
the patterns came across clear and precise. I have not had the chance to use them yet but am looking forward to making wonderful clothes for my granddaughters. thanks.
fun to make and does not take a lot of time. making dresses with this pattern has helped me get better at working with gathers. i am enjoying his pattern and i am very glad i purchased it. the dress style fits in with my love of little house on the prairie.
