Awesome slippers!

I've been wanting this pattern for a while, and I finally found an excuse to get it! I wanted to make slippers to match the doll pj's I made for my nieces for their birthdays, and this was a perfect match! The pattern comes with pattern pieces and instructions to make a bunny, bear and a cat, but I took it a bit further and made a panda and a fawn. I think you can make just about any animal with this pattern, you just have to be creative! The pattern is very well written with clear photos, and not hard to understand at all. They were fairly easy to make, just a bit fiddly. I cheated a little bit when it came to the noses, and glued them on. It was a bit hard to stay within the seam allowance, but I found the pattern to be very forgiving, and the slippers turned out great! The recipients loved them too!

Animal Slippers Pattern

I have not had a chance to use this pattern yet, but they are so cute!

Needs elastic

These are super cute . I wasn't able to control the fabric under my machine well so I made mine by hand . I love them. But they need clear elastic to hold them on or they just fall off. EBay has clear elastic for 99 cents a yard .

Bunny slippers

I would say it would have turned out better if i kept my seams even . But it was still super cute
