19   |

Sew a military outfit for your doll. This PDF pattern is designed for woven fabrics and for the best look you will want to find some camouflage fabric to play with. The jacket has a simple Mandarin collar that is worn in a folded flat position. It can be worn up as well. The jacket has 4 working pockets with flaps and a hook and loop tape closure in the front as well as for the cuffs. The pants have an elasticated waist with 2 working pockets with flaps. They also have elastic in the leg openings which makes for easy tucking in when putting on some Combat Boots! Complete the outfit with the Patrol Cap, a quick to sew cap that uses fusible interfacing to keep it firm.

Patriotic

I enjoyed making this pattern. It was relatively easy. Would also be great for a soldiers shadow box. Military branch and name can be embroidered on pocket flaps.

Soldier Girl

As a retired US Army Staff Sergeant, I could not wait to make this doll sized uniform for my granddaughter. I even recycled one of my old uniforms for the materials and added my own little embellishments to the Uniform. The pattern and instructions were great.

I was amazed at how easy it was to make. I plan on making another with a few slight modifications for USMC uniform.

Great Pattern

Absolutely loved this pattern, it was wonderful to work with and turned out so neat. Our neighbors own a Military Surplus store and she hooked me up with ACUs to cut up and use. The original Velcro on the ACUs is WONDERFUL. My daughters boyfriend is active duty and gave me hints and additions to make it very authentic.
