Easy to assemble,great instructions
I made the ballet outfit and leg warmers for my niece's 8th birthday. I made it out of a childs T-shirt which already had the pink skirt part at the bottom and nice sparkly bits for the bodice front. I added the black 'belt' decoration to match the roller skates (which I bought on ebay) The pattern fits quite small so it's tricky to get on the doll but once on is looks nice. The leg warmers are very fun and easy to make. Here's a photo ... http://tinyurl.com/ka2sodd
I found the instructions easy to follow for Ballet Class 18" doll & am happy with the results. since I have 4 frand daughters that have American Girl & Journey Girl dolls, I will be making this pattern again. The next time I will use a single layer for each of the front & back rather than 2 layers. Susanne Wilson
Very cute and easy to sew. Made one to match my friend's granddaughter's ballet outfit and another for a coworker's daughter. Both loved it! Planning to make more. :)
I am very pleased with the ballet class pattern's easiness and finished product. In no time at all, I was able to make two complete outfits. I did a rolled stitch on my serger to finish the ends of the tulle skirt and just made it adorable. I am new to the Liberty Jane patterns, but I am so enthusiastic over Pixiefaire that I registered for the Craft Business Academy. Thanks, Dotty Smith Champion, Pa
