Special Note - This pattern is designed to fit a Journey Girls Doll specifically and will not fit the standard 18 inch doll such as American Girl Doll. A Journey Girls doll is 18 inches tall but has a much slimmer body. You can see more info on our Doll Measurements page. This pattern is also available to fit American Girl dolls.
Recommended Fabrics: Lightweight Remnant Pieces of Canvas, Home Deco Fabric, or Heavy Cotton;
Supplies Needed:
-Remnant Pieces of Canvas, Home Deco Fabric, or Heavy Cotton; Remnant Piece Cotton for insoles and lining
-Sturdy Cardboard - Believe it or not, I use a Ritz Cracker Box, the sturdy kind from a warehouse store like Costco or BJ’s!
-Quilter’s Fleece
-Thread
-Rolled Cork -or- 2mm craft foam
-Adhesive Spray
-Tacky Glue like Aleene’s
-Hot Glue & Glue Gun
-Foam Core Board
