True to size pattern, gtest fit
This is such a cute and easy pattern to make for your little 8 inch baby dolls. Although created for the AG baby, and doll that has the same measurements will fit this. Some may need minor adjustments, which is very easy to do. It fit my little Lovely Baby doll perfectly as is. I had a lot of fun making this outfit and will make more with different colors. It is easy to add appliques as well to change the look. This will work for girl or boy dolls, and you can make them match if you want. Such a sweet pattern.
Quick, basic pattern. Versatile design which allows this to be used as pj's or as separates. I used Heat-N-Bond Lite to apply a flannel print dinosaur design to the top and pants. With all the different 8" baby dolls out there, be sure to measure your actual baby doll and make adjustments to the pattern lengths, as needed. My vintage doll needed a little extra length in the pants, and a little less length in the sleeves. Easy fixes before you cut your fabric. Speaking of versatility, think how cute this would be with a boy/girl coordinating fabrics set. So many possibilities with this pattern. And be sure to use the sewing tips to stabilize the knit edges to keep the edges from stretching while sewing and hemming.
