I love this pattern very much! Frankly speaking, my first two attempts to make the bodice failed because I'm not an expert seamstress and I started with fancy fabrics right away. After this I took cotton and followed the instructions step-by-step. When I learned the process, the pattern became easy! I already dressed 5 of my dolls in the gowns made by this pattern and plan to use it again and again.
I love this pattern and all the tips the designer gave to help you successfully make this dress. I haven’t finished the dress yet, but so far so good!
I too was a little intimidated with my first try, however I have now made 2 wedding gowns, two light blue gowns full skirts and flounces and wow so many ways to change this pattern. The second offering of a shorter version I have made 4 with addition of netting slips. Love this pattern!!!!!!!!!
