This gorgeous high-waisted little dress in two lengths, has a ruffled scoop neckline, accent color on the shoulders and the hem ruffle, which comes up at the side, is finished with a bow. Appliquéd butterflies are placed randomly on the dress for extra pizazz. The Dress is made from Quilter’s Cotton, the Bodice is lined and closes with hook and loop tape in back. The skirt is cut as one piece and with clever fabric and pattern placement, the side split can be either on the left or right side of the dress. This is a great way to use up those tiny scraps – combine lightweight denim with lace; strong contrasts with bright vibrant colors; soft pastels with florals – anything goes. This easy PDF pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.

A very good expérience. I.m not Sewing because i'm to hospital
I print many of the free patterns but my creative thoughts never get any further. It takes time to shop for materials. I would rather be sewing. Are there now or would kits ever become available for these patterns? How do others feel about purchasing kits for these delightful patterns?
This is a great little pattern. One word of caution check the pattern piece for the skirt before you cut like I did lol.
This is really a stunning pattern. I loved the test and the instruction are easy to understand and follow. Great job Little Miss Muffet.
