I had some issues with the pattern not aligning (waistband issues). I adjusted and was very thankful it all worked out in the end. The pattern was just too complicated for a pair of pants for a doll. I'll stick with something more basic next time, but overall it has some really cute details that make them very realistic and a bit more couture than your average pant pattern.
As usual Liberty Jane has an excellent cut on the bum part of the pants. The only problem I had was that the finished product did not fit my doll properly at the hips or waist - probably because I have a less expensive AG doll. However, when I added 1" to the height of the waist and placed elastic in the waistline it fit nicely. Love your patterns Cinnamon.
I made the shorts from this capris pattern and hope to make the bermuda shorts and the capris soon. It was fun to try a new technique - making welt pockets. I would probably have never figured this out by myself, but when I followed each step carefully I was happily surprised with the result! My daughter has the GOTY 2016 Lea Clark, and these shorts in a "safari" green are adorable on her!
I like the pattern; at present I am knitting and crocheting the doll clothes and hope to get to sewing soon or at least by this summer
