This pretty dress goes together so easy! Use a cotton for a casual look, or change up the fabric for a fancier occasion. Add a t-shirt or leggings for a fall outfit. Carly’s dress features a lined bodice, a full skirt, and over the shoulder straps. Straps can have buttons or knots in the front. This PDF pattern Includes instructions for using an invisible zipper or hook and loop tape in the back and can be made without the waist piping for an easier version.

Love this pattern. Easy to follow pattern. Cute dress for baby dolly.
loved making it up
I purchased this a while ago and finally making it. The pattern pieces it self are well done and easy to understand. The issues...first off I don't have a surger, there are way too many unfinished hems if you don't have a surger so I ended up completely redoing the instructions for finished seams and constructed it differently. A few recommendations: Sew the hem pieces BEFORE you gather the skirt...way easier. Another, the bodice, I put the entire thing together and then attached it to the skirt, looks much nicer and I have finished seams, not just randon zig zag or surge areas. If you do not have a surger be prepared to figure out how to put this together differently or just don't get this one. It came out very nice, but luckily i've been sewing since I was a kid and able to figure out alternatives. If I was new i'd be up a creak without a paddle.
This little dress went together so easily! This dress looks and fits so much better than the doll clothes made from the traditional patterns that are made for any generic 15" doll!
