This Sherpa coat is a cozy, casual and fun jacket for a chilly day. It can be made in two lengths. View A has a collar and View B has a hood. Both views have pieced fronts and backs. View A has a yoke with a straight edge, and View B has a curved yoke. This coat looks best when made from a faux suede fabric with a fleece underside as this reversible fabric creates it's own effortless cozy 'lining'. Special techniques for sewing the seams together are included in this PDF pattern.
The Sherpa boots have a roll down cuff. The outside seam is sewn so that the fur shows, and the soles are made of felt.

Love this pattern. My girls look GREAT in their new Chilly Day jackets. The pattern fits well and the instructions are well written.
I received an Faux suede w/ fleece underside throw as an gift (from work) and I immediately thought of the Chilly Day Sherpa Coat and Boots pattern, that I had purchased, so yes I did, cut that blanket up, great directions, though I'm not sure if it the fabric I used, put it slides uncontrollably, so I baste stitched 1\2 inch out, around the cut pieces (using a darker color thread to remove later) that overlaps and was able to have more control in making sure that I stitched all layers. Fun, fun pattern will be making more.
